A1c
I am five weeks post RNY and my A1c is now down from 7.8 to 6.0! So happy to celebrate a landmark in better health! Kicking diabetes out the front door! I hope! 
We tend to focus primarily on the number on the scale as the barometer of our success, but that right there. Your A1c in the normal range. That, and other health improvements, are the biggest miracles of this life-saving surgery. Congrats!
