Okay, first thank you to those who made me realize that the reason I haven't lost weight in so many months is because I am eating at maintenance (Grim Traveler and others)...not low enough to lose! Losing weight means that I now need fewer calories so I need to under-eat in order to continue losing...duh, I knew that, but needed you guys to slap me upside the head it to make it sink in. So that is under way, so to speak. I continue to work out with my wonderful trainer -- at 59 I want to avoid any issues so I can keep on keeping on. My goal this year is to be able to power jump up those big boxes and to run an actual, real race. 5K and then 10K.
I love love love the fact that I was able to have my RNY and get this awful weight off for once and for all. I expect to get to goal by summer, just want to remain accountable to you good folks here - I learn all the time, and still am inspired by all the before/afters, thank you to those who share.
