How much weight did you lose? I hate this question... how do you answer?
For a few very rude people like that my standing answer was "i can't believe you ask me THAT question. That's so RUDE". Then i would turn aroud and walk away....some of them would chase after me and appologise...
I was also helping them ....so they won't be so rude in the future.

I love the 'I don't know, what do you weigh?' I think I will borrow that one pal!
At least now some are not asking if I am ok, like I have a serious illness or something. 😁

Another man without a problem... interesting!!
I think I will say, "Well, how much to you weigh? I will see if we're close..."
I don't have a problem answering either. It sure seems like it's different for us guys.

150 lost and maintaining!
I tell anyone who asks how much I've lost. I say it proud and with a smile on my face. I don't share how much I weigh or what my starting weight was but I don't see anything wrong with sharing the amount lost. Before surgery I found it inspiring to hear about people who lost a lot and I thought it was a rare thing. Now that I've lost over 100lbs I feel like a purple unicorn because it's just not something that you see or hear every day. People are in awe of that kind of success. I don't think they are trying to be rude I just think they get stunned by the way we look and the question comes out before they think about how we might feel about it.
Idk. I'm babbling.
