confused?
I was a little obsessive at first and driving myself crazy then, someone told me that what the dr and nut tells you is based on the averages of what most can tolerate. I was able to tolerate much less and finally decided to trust what my body was telling me. I prioritized fluids first to prevent dehydration then, proteins (of course, protein shakes are fluids also so I tried to concentrate on that but when I got nauseous I switched to water for a bit). it will even itself out. I did measure food (and still do) as I don't want to eat more than I am supposed to. I also track fluids because I find it easy to not get what I should. I guess what I am saying is that go slow, don't be anxious, do the best you can and as you heal it will get easier to do what is being recommended.
