If you are doing the pureed stage I bought a magic bullet and I love it. I wish I would have had it when I started out. Totally worth buying.

I bought a magic bullet and the Soup attachment. It's so great and I will use it after I'm off purée foods. I also bought a veggie spiral to make noodles from veggies can't wait to try it. Now I need to stock up on some recipes for when I can eat use it.

The veggie spiral maker is great two. I have two things I love in my kitchen my Magic Bullet. My crock pot that browns meats and slow cooks also.

How exciting! Compared to weight loss surgery this will be easy. And so much fun!

I am happy because I can wear regular tennis shoes today. I know it doesn't seem like much but when you've been wearing an ugly surgical shoe on one foot since the 29th of January,to wear two matching new tennis shoes is pretty amazing. Don't have to splint the two toes anymore either so the foot is making progress! Post op 30 months and a week and weight at 119.4 today. Exercise will be treadmill and bike and if the rain ever stops maybe a lap around the park with Lily. On track with vitamins and fluid and here's the food plan: B 1/2 c steel cut oats with nuts and half a banana with peanut butter L 1/2 c tuna and some hummus and green pepper slices D 31/2 oz panko breaded tilapia and 1/2 c oriental veggies S salty caramel Greek yogurt with plain granola. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Good Morning,

My positive is I woke up early and worked out....which was tough after a tough day yesterday both emotionally (I just wanted to kill everyone in my path, lol) and food choice wise, it was a real struggle not to go off the rails and even still I made some only so so choices and ate way too many carbs.  But, today I feel back on track and back in control so, that's a huge positive.  One day off plan will not kill me, its compounded days that do us in, right?

Time since surgery 13.5 months

B - Shredded turkey

S - String Cheese

L Greek yogurt w/ chia/hemp/flax seeds

D - Turkey carnitas and maybe some refried beans, we'll see though

W/V - On track

E - weights with my trainer this morning and then some running...will walk at lunch and hopefully some yoga tonight.  Should be a good active day :)

Have a great Tuesday everyone!

What makes me feel good today?  The temp job I'm working is supposed to end the last of April, but could go until the end of June.  I have decided the end of April is it for me.  I will have been here 6 months.  So, 6 weeks, 3 days and 5 1/2 hours and  I can return to retirement.

My tastebuds have been so off since my sinus surgery.  I'm still not tasting anything that really hits the spot.  No shakes for the last 3 days so this morning I had a Click shake.  Good but not great.  I saw the surgeon yesterday and it's common to lose your tastes.  The visit was absolute torture.  He suctioned my sinus.  Thought my face was going to explode.  Things have to get better.

B:  Click shake

S:  Sugar Free Pumpkin Banana Muffin

L:  Crustless Chicken Pot Pie; banana

S:  Apple w/peanut butter

D:  Ham & Beans

S:  Chobani kids' yogurt stick, frozen

Do you buy the Pumpkin Banana muffins?  Or are they a recipe you can share?

I'm sorry about your taste buds.  I hope things get better soon!
