So, I'm home from the hosp. yesterday and after they pumped me full of fluids, I felt like Oh... I won't show any weight loss for another week or so - and my Dr. agreed.  This morning I wake up from a really good night's sleep - (first time I've slept really well since surgery), look in the mirror and say to myself, gee... my face looks a little thinner.   No, really, it does.  So, just for a laugh I stepped on the scale and then my eyes popped!

(I just love this lil' emoticon)

My weight is down 10 pounds.  I'm so happy!  I think the worst is over and I'm really on my way now!  Feeling Lighter!

So exciting!  I still weigh myself daily even though my loss has slowed to a crawl.  the first few months are like a dream with all of the loss.

The meltdown is hard to process and yet euphoric at the same time.  Here you go, hang on.
