What's on your Menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
You will do just fine. I wish I could walk at a fast enough pace to do a half marathon but most around us require finishing in a set time. I could easily do the distance just not at the pace they want since I'm not really supposed to run because of my artificial knees. Just have fun with it and worry only about you not anyone else's speed. You've got this!
Thanks! I don't typically do anything different than I do on my normal workout days except that I put a string cheese in my little running pouch thing and eat it if I need to. Also, for most of this week I will try and get more water in than I normally do (I typically only sip a tad while running). Usually I will grab a little something at the finish line like a banana or something like that and then get my coffee.

Oh I am so excited for your 1/2 marathon! So exciting! Yes it is so hard to stay out of the kitchen some evenings! I can't wait to hear how the crocheting goes, great way to distract and help with keeping your hands busy!
Have an awesome day beautiful girl!
Good November morning, Menu Crew! It's supposed to be a balmy mid-80's kind of day. The breeze is a little chilly this morning, but I'll be pulling this sweater off by noon! Here in Texas, we have four seasons.... November, December, January and Summer.
I did pretty well last night with the candy and smorgasbord of food that my dear mother-in-law usually has on "All Hallow's Eve." I mostly ate from a veggie tray and snagged a string cheese from her fridge, and I was all set.
QOTD: I am neither a stress or boredom eater, but only because I don't really stress about much, and I don't get bored. I have three young kids who all show pigs and goats, so any extra time I have is spent in the barn, which is my favorite place to be!
RNY scheduled on 11/28/16 (T minus 27 days and counting!)
Breakfast: Cantaloupe and FF cottage cheese (sweet tooth, because I was a good girl last night and didn't charge the kids a candy tax!)
Lunch: Babybel and veggie tray leftovers that my sweet MIL sent home with us last night--she only had the veggies because I was there! Love her to pieces! Huge supporter of mine!
Snack: Greek yogurt or string cheese or jerky--all in my lunchbox for the day.
Dinner: Hubby making homemade chili
Have a great day, folks!
