What's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYes?
Good morning! I mistakenly posted in the wrong thread! Sorry AMAW/CAMAW-ers :)
QOTD - We always look forward to our conventions, and the first one is this weekend. The last one (2nd and last for us) is the middle of July. So definitely looking forward to those. Our oldest is finishing school at the end of June, but his grad isn't until November. Very proud of him though. Then we have the move which is kind of a double edged sword. I don't know where we're moving, but I am looking forward to purging and cleaning, and starting over in a new place even though it wasn't what we planned. I'm looking forward to hot hazy days, and hoping the rain eases off so that we can have some beach visits. Water levels are pretty high everywhere and beaches are closed in a lot of areas- not that it's been warm enough yet. Daisy- take heart - the weather for the rest of the week looks pretty nice.
Menu:
B: Protein Shake
L: Salad bar at work - I love this option actually - they always have cottage cheese, diced chicken and hard boiled eggs, and it usually costs less the $2.50. Mornings are hectic for me so this eases some of the pressure.
D: I think I'm making spaghetti for the kids. I will have the meat sauce (there will be lots of meat) and some leftover roasted veggies.
Exercise- This will be my last workout for the week- we are heading up to our convention tomorrow and have 2 houses to see tomorrow evening and then we will be up there, so while I won't be getting a workout, I will be increasing my step goal to 15,000 and will have a stretch goal of 20,000 steps. So tonight, I think I will do a double workout- upper and lower body, and then back to the mat on Sunday night after we get home.
Have a great day everyone.

Good morning
My food menu is getting better. I have been a little off with my eating. But that is just an excuse. I use having my surgery as an excuse to eat stuff I shouldn't.
Being honest is not always easy but it is very important.
I am looking forward this summer to going to the beach. Sitting outside and just being there warm and not cold and damp. I also turn 50 in July so I am not sure if I am really that excited about that day. I know it is only a number. But it came around so fast.
B:Whole milk greek yogurt
L:Egg white sandwich from WAWA
D:Something easy. It is just me. I like it that way. I can just make something quick or buy something and not worry about anyone else
Enjoy the day
Good morning menu buddies!
QOTD: This summer I am looking forward to traveling to several events I love to teach at, time with the kids who are on college break, and getting my yard to look like a yard. We have a cactus and rock disaster and I am confident that with blood sweat and tears we can make it into something lovely!
Menu: B: Greek yogurt with homemade granola; L: Frozen goulash; D: Meaty ricotta bake; S: 1/2 cup grapes; ES: Chobani Simply 100 Crunch; Totals: Cal 912, Protein 85; Carb 73; Fat 44
Accountability: No smoking despite my cravings and weight is staying down at 125. Looking good!
