half day off today. I have to take one of the cats to vet this morning (annual checkup), then out for coffee with DH, then meeting a friend for lunch. Might work remotely this afternoon to make it feel more like a full day off, since I have to work again this weekend (boo!)
QOTD: boy - I don't remember, so if so, it's been a long time - but probably!!
2 years out (maintenance):
B: homemade Greek yogurt mixed with peanut butter protein powder (I need to feel really full because I've been in eating-machine mode for the last couple of days - ugh!)
S: coffee with half & half, cantaloupe vanilla protein shake (with 2 T avocado - again, to keep me satiated today)
L: 2-3 oz pulled pork, 2 T baked beans, 2 T coleslaw
D: carnitas (I know they've been on the menu all week, but half of those days I've gone off menu at dinner time)
ex: lower body weight machines, recumbent stepper
QOTD: Oh at least a half dozen times. I think it's like a rite of passage here in NYC.
Worse is when I used to walk down Central Park South everyday on my way to work. That's where all the horses & carriages line up. Once waiting to cross the street I got "splash bombed" by a passing car that hit a pothole. Well it was summer and it hadn't rained in many days so what was that pothole filled with? Horse pee & poo ! And I was told it was good luck.
Still waiting for that luck to kick in.
Hi! I've been lurking this thread and am going to try to participate.
Yes, I have been pooped on by a bird. I was 11 walking to a friend's house and it pooped all over my eighties bangs. With all the hairspray in them, getting it out was a challenge!
B: 1/2 Premier Protein Chocolate shake
S: Dannon Light and Fit Greek Yogurt
L: unknown- I didn't have anything to pack so I need to find something healthy around work
D: ground turkey with salsa and taco seasoning topped with shredded cheese
Totals: without lunch 405cals, 16 carbs, 51 protein
Vitamin patches are on
Will likely take a long walk at lunch.

Good Morning and Happy Friday-Eve! Crazy weather swings for sure! I am looking forward to one last cooler weekend before the summer temps officially hit. Sending out thoughts and prayers to Cynthia and MaryAnn as they are both having surgeries today.
QOTD: Yup, the last time I remember it was at the beach on my foot-luckily it was easy to wash off.

L: Apple chicken sausage, string cheese and baby carrots
S: SF latte, homemade Greek yogurt, homemade low carb granola, 2 Brazil nuts and Buddig ham pack

Have a great one!
Hey Daisy and menu Folks! Beautiful day here in Illinois and Lily and I have our 3.2 miles in already today and will do another11/2 after dinner. Heading out to camp for days and go to a cowboy shoot after food pantry today. I'll try to get some pictures as son will be along to take them for me. Lots of spaces for Lily and I to walk too. Yesterday the carb monster snuck back into my life. While cleaning cupboards of old food I found a box of Triscuts. One became two handfuls before I knew it. I took the box to the garbage and covered it with nastiness. I guess I needed a reminder that I am a food addict and that every day is a battle. Post op 4 years 9 months weight at 118.4 today (yuck) and here's the food B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz taco meat with lettuce and fixings D 31/2 oz grilled ribeye with 1/2 c asparagus S 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese with mustard. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that move you one step closer to your goal!
