Still giggling about that phrase!

Mornin' All!
Morning desk shift, but then nothing else scheduled for today. Yay! I'll work on some back-burner projects and try to get them out of the way before we get super busy starting next week (it'll last through spring break - then things should start to slow down again). Weather good here today - no snow, and it's warm (well, for Wisconsin, anyway...)
Accountability was great yesterday!
QOTD: I don't give a hoot about football, so I won't be watching it. I'll go to the grocery store then, I suppose - best time of year to go - the place is empty!
2 years 7 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt with 1/2 scoop protein powder, 1 T Crio Bru grounds, and raspberries
MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax vanilla latte shake (added 1/2 a small banana for the potassium - I'm hoping it'll help with this salt sensitivity)
L: 1 C cottage cheese
AS: 2 T peanut butter with celery sticks
D: maybe taco meat (ground turkey) with fixings
a piece of crustless protein pumpkin pie later if I can afford the calories
ex: Water in Motion (I don't like it as well as Aqua Zumba, but it'll have to do...)
Good Morning! Luckily, the year I lived where is snowed we barely got any snow and I only had to drive a few times when there was snow on the ground...I was not good at it. When we make trips to the mountains to play in the snow my hubby drives-phew!
Accountability: I made a PB&J on low carb pita and had some somersaults last night.
QOTD: The game might be on the tv, but it's not something we usually sit and watch. I do like JT too, so maybe I will at least catch the halftime show this year.
Time since surgery: 3 years 5 months
B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links
L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots
S: Salami, Carbmaster yogurt, and mixed nuts
D: Smoked sausage, cauliflower mashers and a square of dark chocolate
ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF jam and ¼ cup fiber cereal
E: An hour stair climber this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch
V/W: On track

Have a great one!
Good morning! As suspected, that little bit of gain (water) I had before a little stall, was a precursor to a drop in weight, as has been the pattern all along. Go up a couple of pounds, hold it for a while, then whammo, 8 pounds falls off like I cut it off. I'm 4 weeks from the 1-year surgiversary, (end of Feb) and my 1-year appointment is March 23 (that's the soonest we could both align schedules). I'm curious to see what happens in 7 weeks.
Menu: I opened the cottage cheese this morning and it smelled off so I just did the bar thing again. Identical menu to yesterday, shakes and bars for the day, and supper will likely be chicken and veggies. I don't seem to get tired of whatever the meal is; still stuck on "food is fuel" mantra but, I grew up eating the same stuff so I guess that's normal.
QOTD: I've never been a huge Superbowl watcher, but I'll root for the Eagles this time around. Brady's great and all, and I don't buy into all the conspiracy theory crap, I just want to see other teams win it. I haven't really watched it religiously since I played in high school a thousand years ago; I was a different guy back then and football brought out the worst in me on the field. Off the field I was fine thankfully.
I love watching the American feeds for the commercials and the halftime show is always fun. Can't wait for that!
Good morning. My name is Lisa. I just had my RNY on 1/8/18. I've been lurking for months, but after not losing anything for the last 2 weeks, I am beyond frustrated (even though I KNOW that stalls happen) and I just need some support. So, here I am! My biggest struggle(s)- getting enough protein, water, and meds and vitamins in! Everything hurts if I try to pu**** (and I've tried). Ugh.
QOTD: I'm not a football fan, but do enjoy watching halftime show. I also go to youtube the next day and watch all the commercials. LOL.
Breakfast: fried egg with one slice of toast
Lunch: 3 oz Shrimp and 1 tb ****tail sauce
Dinner: not sure yet. That is usually planned by my partner (he cooks dinner) and I haven't had a chance to talk to him yet. Most likely chicken or fish for me. I can't get veggies in yet.
I haven't been good about getting any snacks in yet.
I've already had 8 oz of decaf tea.
Oh, and I've tried the protein shakes and adding protein powder to my foods. My taste buds have changed since the surgery and I can no longer tolerate it. I can taste the protein powder. The shakes are too sweet. Any tips to make them more tolerable are welcome.
I have my one month surgery, nutrition and psych appointment next week. I feel like I'm going to be scolded for not having a much better handle on this.

I would ditch the toast first of all. I'm honestly surprised you can eat shrimp at 3 1/2 weeks out. I couldn't eat them until 5 months out. And I sure wouldn't be worried about getting snacks in. Heck I was only at 400 cals a day and that was from a couple of protein shakes and yogurt. I put the shakes in a Sippy type cup so I couldn't smell them. It made is easier to drink them.
Thank you for your feedback, ladygodiva1228. I have had questions myself as to whether I should eat the toast. It is on my list of acceptable foods, has felt good in my stomach, and given me 3 grams of protein. I don't like the carb count, though. I will re-evaluate this and see if I can come up with another alternative that has more protein and less carbs and is tolerable.
Surprisingly, I am doing so much better with shrimp and fish and then I am with chicken. They feel lighter in my stomach.
I will try the sippy cups for shakes. :)
