I really like the Trader Joe's cauliflower crust pizzas. We add chicken and artichoke hearts...yum!

Good Morning Janet and Menu Family,

Janet, I'm so sorry about Holmes. It is so hard to lose one of our beloved fur babies. I'm glad your doctor's appointments went well and that you got something to help you sleep and support your mood and also that DW's meds got upped.

QOTD: There's a zombie hunt this year that you can go and shoot "live" zombies with paintball guns out of a trailer. We might do that. We also might go back to Knee Knocker Woods, a haunted walk through the woods with lots of very elaborate scary things that jump out at you and other scary displays. Last year when we went it was so bitter cold that it wasn't much fun and also it was pitch dark so we couldn't see the displays very well.

Accountability: I am doing CAMAW and it's going well. I did have some frozen yogurt last night but besides that I've stayed on plan. Protein - 129, Calories - 1,262, Carbs - 89.

B: Prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: hamburger patty, light & fit Greek yogurt

D: hamburger patty, light & fit Greek yogurt

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, cheese omelet maybe

E: walking dogs

Have a great day everyone!

~ Karen

You have a lot to juggle there. I think your eating plan makes sense. When I do that I maintain really well. It is the simple, starchy carbs that really are dangerous. I like the AMAW/CAMAW to reset, but long term I think your plan works best.

We saw A Star is Born yesterday. FANTASTIC! Lady Gaga nailed it (I think we all had some tears at the end).

Dog and cat introductions going well here. I think they will be fully free to explore each other soon. Justice did try to play a bit earlier and Lavender hissed so he backed off. He seems very relaxed with her in the room now.

QOTD: I don't know! We have limited time left here in New England, so at best some fall walks. We leave Friday for family visiting and a wedding, then are home for 5 days at the end of October before we leave for warm Florida.

Accountability: 100% on CAMAW! No extra snacking.

2 Years 6.5 months post-op (maintaining below goal for 22.5 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Deli chicken and cottage cheese

D: crab cakes or ahi tuna (out to dinner)

S: homemade cottage cheese with torani SF syrup

Good morning. It snowed a bit in Chicago yesterday but didn't accumulate. I actually missed it but somebody at work told me that it had been snowing and later on I saw the pictures. I work about 60 stories off the ground and sometimes we have snow outside our windows but by the time reaches the ground it has changed to rain.

QOTD: In a few weeks I am traveling to meet my daughter and attend her school's football game. We try and attend one road game together each year. I am sure we will get pumpkins as well but the teenage boys aren't as excited about it any more.

Breakfast: eggs, turkey sausage

Snack: Greek Yogurt

Lunch: Turkey meatballs (need to go to Trader Joes

Snack: Cottage cheese

Dinner: maybe the last of the ham from last week

Have a great day all
