There is something very alluring about a well loved married woman.

He has nothing to offer.

Okay, time to fess up. I was on vacation last week and ate terribly. I'm back on track, but learned that I have to put up better guardrails during vacation. It was cold and rainy, so we went grocery shopping. Somehow my old self took over as we had ice cream, candy and pretzels in the cart. This all lead to a great therapy session today with my therapist. I really learned a lot about the old behaviors laying deep and how to better handle them with more active planning. I've taken off about half of the regain (that was mostly the water weight), but still have 5 to go to get back to my low. I'll have that off in the next 10 days I figure. In the future - we discussed that I can't have a store of food when I'm on vacation and to rely more on drinking interesting and new teas. So we have plans for my upcoming Vegas and Florida trips over the next three months. I guess that means the picture of me about to land on the aircraft carrier - I waved off and have to make a new attempt in the next two weeks ;)

QOTD - The President is Missing. I'm liking it more than I thought. I'm right at the exciting part, so it's hard to put down at night. But I have to in order to get up at 4am to get to the gym at 5.

pre-workout .5 apple with tbs peanut butter

B - 2 egg; 1 sausage

S - 6 oz plain greek yogurt with tsp pb2

L - small salad - 3.5oz chicken

S - light babybel cheese

D - Eggface ricotta bake 1/2 cup and 3 oz turkey

S - SF popsicle

HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)

Oh share any new and interesting teas you find! My current favs are a black tea (bagged) from Tazo - Vanilla Macaron; and a loose tea from NobiliTEA called grasshopper -- it's a rooibos and tastes like a thin minute cookie. I'm on the hunt for an eggnog tea.

QOTD: I'm reading the Laurie R. King Series about Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes. They are very good books the first one is The Beekeepers Apprentice. If you like Sherlock Holmes these are really good books. I'm also in the Louise Penny series Chief Inspector Armand Gamache another great series. I'm waiting for the new Markus Zusak book Bridge of Clay he wrote The Book Thief that I would highly recommend. I read a ton of books thanks to my local library and Overdrive Media.

Crazy day at work, added more to my pile of jobs to complete. So overwhelmed and no relief in sight. I've had recruiters coming after me lately so who knows I might have a new job soon. I would rather retire but until I can get medicare it isn't financially feasible.

Accountability was off again yesterday, but not terrible. Out of cookies so that won't be a problem, and I refuse to buy anymore.

Friend is mad at me again, so not talking again. He asked what I learned from this and my answer was to not answer the phone when I'm busy. That isn't what he wanted to hear. He'll get over it.

Almost Thursday, thank goodness!

Take care everyone.

I would have thought that was a great thing to "learn" from this....although you are very kind Julia! I'm afraid if someone asked me what I learned from their giving me the silent treatment, my answer would be along the lines of "I learned you're a bit of a dick".

Yes, I like his method of smoking at a higher temp. I started using Myron's method for cooking my brisket and pulled pork.
