Sounds like they really want you -- be open about the commute and maybe you can come to an agreement like 3 days at home, 2 days commuting; every other week in the office or a split schedule that gets you in and out during non-peak traffic times. i know when I"m hiring someone I really want, I'm very willing to flex where I can...and remote/different shifts can be very useful (and cost me nothing).

Hello my RnY friends! Happy Wednesday!

Still hovering just a smidge above 140#. I am excited to see the scale dip below that and into the 130's. The only downside to that is that many of my clothes are now too big. Though most that I haven't donated are only a size or at most two too large, their fit isn't as flattering as it might be. If I wasn't stressed financially this would be great as I could go shopping for a new wardrobe! But I need to behave myself for now. I'm trying to resolve this quickly.

My mom passed away on December 20 several years ago, and every year as the holidays approach i feel the weight of that date approaching. It started for me today. I still love Thanksgiving, and after a few years of not being able to decorate for Christmas, I went all out over the past two years. Now I am in this new, much smaller place, and I don't have the big fireplace and mantle i used to have. I feel a little depressed about that, because it will be harder to make everything look prettier and festive, but I will do what I can.

QOTD: my son, my DIL, her mom and I are all driving down together to have Thanksgiving at the house of the mother of my DIL's sister's partner. It's a beautiful big house, and there are supposed to be a ton of people there, which sounds like fun to me! I'm going to put together a cheese platter and bring crackers for those who want them. That's an easy prep on my end for sure!

First: 3 huge mugs of tea. I picked up some Jordan's Skinny Syrups to try, and they are not bad -they are more intense than Torani's so just a tiny bit yields good flavor. I like the Brown Sugar Cinnamon flavor a lot! The only down side is that they come in plastic bottles, rather than glass.

B: ham

L: tuna

D: I have a date. Not sure what I'll eat, but I will be on point, protein forward, etc.

Have a great rest of your day, my friends!

I prefer the Jordan's syrups since they last much longer because I don't have to use as much. Love them in my coffee/latte and plain Greek yogurt.

I hope you have a great time on your date.

I'd never tried them before, but was a huge shelf full of them when I went to Marshall's yesterday, and I picked a couple up. I agree, they are definitely longer lasting than Torani, and very good. I'm glad I saw them!

I think the Jordan's flavors are much sweeter than Torani. LOVE Jordan's iced cinnamon roll - so good!

That flavor sounds fantastic - I love all things cinnamon. I will look for it!

Mmmm, smoked turkey. I bet it will be amazing! I wish there would be smell-o-vision and taste-o-vision if you share pictures of it!
