What's on your PHOTO FRIDAY Menu, RNYers?

Good morning! DH and I are seeing Phantom of the Opera tonight at the Orpheum, and I hope he likes it! He's new to the broadway show scene (I've been a theater and drama nerd since high school) and Phantom is a bit more "traditional opera-y" that the last few plays we've seen.

Qotd: DH and I have some fairly traditional things we do during holiday season, like taking a night to get a hot beverage and drive around looking at Christmas lights in the fancy parts of town. We do a thanksgiving eve thing with some friends that I've known since high school, where we gather in the mall food court for dinner, then go back to my friends house to watch Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. We missed out on that this year for the Tulsa trip.

AMAW:

Breakfast: black coffee

snack: 3 oz pork chop

lunch: 4 oz chicken breast

dinner: tricky because DH wants to eat out before the show. I'll probably stick to a bunless burger but I don't know where we'll find to eat near the theater.

It's interesting to me how the quality of the light in this photo conveys the season and temperature. Nice photo of the two of you slim folks!

The weather was fantastic in Tulsa--they were still having crisp Autum 60ish degree days, we took our jackets off most afternoons. When we left Tulsa, we watched the temp drop on our car thermometer from 64 down to ~30s as we drove back north to the winterlands. Depressing!

Phantom is one of my FAVORITES!! I am so jealous. Haven't seen it in ages. Aaaaah! The music! The songs!!! I wanna go with you.
