Happy New Year everyone! Here we are in 2019 and we have a whole new year of possibilities!

How are you doing with your goals? Whether you are spot on or fell of the wagon hard, today is a new day and you can start again!

Yesterday went pretty well for me except that we went shopping after I worked out and I didn't get a snack in between. I got very hungry so we stopped at Wendy's and I got 2 chicken tenders and a small chili. I only ate half of the chili and pulled the breading off the chicken, so not too bad, but a reminder that I need to be more mindful about planning my meals and snacks again.

I had a good workout class with my trainer and 3 of his other folks. It was nice to wrap up the year in a healthy way.

Today I am making Hoppin' John for DW with black-eyed peas and rice and a pork roast and sauerkraut for me...lots of good luck for the new year!

Good morning Janet. I was about 75% on track yesterday. I too need to plan better and have food on hand when out and about. I went into work yesterday and was there longer than anticipated. I came home famished and ate ramen! What was I even thinking! I am so mad at myself. That was literally 50 carbs. Ramen isn't even good! The thing is, I had good food in my fridge, boiled eggs, deli meat, and cheese. Everything else was on track yesterday.

I was in bed by 9. We had a nice fire in the backyard and my son made smoked pork ribs and chicken thighs that turned out perfect. I made a pan of mac and cheese to go with it and coleslaw. I only ate the meat. The neighbors were obnoxious with the fireworks last night, some of them literally shook the house. I hate that feeling of panic being woke up by that.

I just want to be home today in my comfy clothes today. I want to deep clean my room and organize. I just want some quiet me time and a hot bath with Epsom salts and lavender.

Food for today-

3 cups of black french roast coffee, 1 with Miralax

2 eggs with 1/2 c. cottage cheese

5 oz smoked pork meat ( no sauce)

just 2 blueberry yogurt

maybe tuna

I am not going to weigh until Monday.

Lots and lots of water and vitamins always

Epsom salts and lavender sound delightful. It is on my menu today, thanks for the idea.

Happy 2019 everyone! I didn't feel well most of the day yesterday so had no problem staying on track with a mix of tea, coffee and premier. Not the most varied menu but I did hit my protein/fluid/carb goals so yay.

Day 7 of being back on track. Down .4 lbs today, so 2.2 lbs in 7 days. I miss the rapid weight loss of the honeymoon stage!

I still can't believe I've regained. I avoided thinking about it while it was happening and now I'm confronting it. Hopefully I remember how much I hate having to lose weight once I get back to goal.

Yesterday was a good day until we went out to dinner, then I celebrated. Same weight this morning as the prior day. But today has gone well. Happy New Year!

I did great yesterday and my weight was down another pound this morning - but today was a problem. We were at an all-day brunch which started out fine, but later in the afternoon I wa****ting the sweets. Ugh. I should have left the party at that point. I feel like utter crap now. Hopefully this isn't going to throw me too far off track. At least there's not anything coming up for a long while..
