Good morning! LOVE that meme! I am still in ketosis, but I'm not losing. I was up a pound yesterday and it's still hanging on today - whatever. I started reviewing the basics and I realize that I have fallen off the no liquids for 30 after meals. So I'm back to setting the timer. Also, since I moved (and its been 6 mo) I suck at weekend and evening vitamins - I had it down at the old house. At work during the week I'm always on it. At home? Out of sight - out of mind. I bought a Mon-Sun pill box yesterday for accountability. I got this! Today is gym day with the hubs. He is starting to run and I am so proud of him!! Meanwhile I am loving the stair climber and the rowing machine right now.

QOTD - I LOVE spicy, strong flavored foods, not just heat. It has to taste great, so if the heat takes over I'm out. I've had ghost pepper and habanero heat, but I'm more jalapeno level heat.

Accountability - great, but I'm considering tweaking my macros if the scale doesn't start moving again.

TSS 2 years, 8 mo 172.1 again

Have good one everybody!

It cracks me up that you and I are almost always in the same struggle at the same time. I also got into bad vitamin habits and just filled my Sun -Sat pill box with my vitamins! I also decided to change my macros and lower the numbers by a lot. This stall is too long to make excuses. Time to lower the calories...

That is funny! I'm still hoping for a drop, but I may have been dreaming that 800 cals would allow me to lose weight for long, keto or not. I envy those that can eat more than me. I've really enjoyed the extra cals and the fat so much! So satisfying. Oh well.... I'm gonna give it the rest of the week and see what happens then it's operation stall be gone!

You are further out from surgery, unfortunate reality for all of us is it just doesn't happen like it used to. And really that is OK. We are in this for the long game.

Good morning,

One of these days I'll get under 180 and making those modifications has been slow. I've almost fully recovered my pre-surgery strength and endurance, so I'm happy about that. My frozen fruit in the evening as my snack has worked wonders. It's a very satisfying way to have some fruit (Mango or strawberries).

QOTD - I love spicy. Just finished my breakfast with spicy salsa and jalapenos - yum

PWO - 1/2 protein bar

B - 2 eggs, scrambled in a few pieces of broccoli with a little cheese, salsa, sausage link

L - Salad, chicken (3 oz), 1oz cheese, medium orange

S - Low sugar greek yogurt with a few almonds

D - Small salad, Kohlrabi noodles with low sugar pasta sauce - leftover 1/4 of personal pan size crust-less pizza from weekend. Basically a slab of sausage with all the toppings. Perfect for this dish. Had some last night.

S - Frozen strawberry - squirt of topping (2tbs)

Exercise - 40 min spin class; 40 min trainer; 10 min torture with training rolling out my legs and shoulder

HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)

hey everyone, I am here but I wish I was already on vacation. haha...I still have the rest of today and tomorrow before we leave so I am way ahead of myself.

QOTD: I love spicy foods and I tend to overseason things because I love the spice. I'm with Amy on this though, I don't like it so spicy that it just takes over the flavor of everything else...and since surgery my heat level preference is lower since I can't drink while I eat...so that's rough! I also prefer a jalapeno level heat rather than anything too much hotter. Probably the hottest thing I've had was a hot sauce I bought my DH with habanero extract.

Morning: lots of Coffee w/ SF Coffeemate
B: 1/2C cottage cheese w/2oz black forest ham and ebb seasoning/dill, fresh georgia peach
L: broccoli salad w/rotisserie chicken
AS: L&F greek yogurt
D: not sure, DH is cooking something...probably either bunless cheeseburgers or salmon with a side veggie.

A trick I do to eat things spicier than I usually can handle, though it will add extra calories, is to have a small bit of plain yogurt or sour cream after a bite of spicy. I've not tried ricotta or cottage cheese, though it would work too, I'd think. It's not a thin liquid, and it's not a big amount anyway, so it won't wash food out, and since it's dairy...it's helps with the heat.

I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

I have used sour cream with some things when they have hot peppers sometimes, like omelettes or taco meat, but sometimes it's a weird flavor to add to things. I love hot giardinera with my italian beef but sour cream or yogurt is kinda weird on that haha.
