My dad always said I'd get more conservative as I got older. He's wrong so far...I say I'm just slightly to the right of Sweden, although lately, I think I might be to the left, lol. I definitely thing some aspects of socialism would benefit us as a society and I am willing to a larger than my fair share to support it!

Good morning JB and Menuers,

I love the Meme and glad I do not resemble it. I am glad to hear you may have figured out what's going on. Hopefully the deep clean will help.

I am so ready for everything to open up. I am not scared at all. I think people in general are washing there hands wearing there mask and being careful. In Pennsylvania 73% of deaths are in Nursing facility's and I think the rest are health care workers. I don't see it spreading in the general public like it did in New York and New Orleans,

I will be opening my moms pool this weekend. We like to get it open and get the heater on so that we can use it Memorial day weekend. It will be nice to have the pool to retreat to.

QOTD: I don't think I give a true 1st impression at all. I am physically a small person now and I am a Fat Girl at heart. I been overweight all my life. And as we all know weight loss fixes physical and health. It doesn't change your mind set. I only see skinny me when I look in the mirror all the rest of the time I am still that 300 lbs. lots to love kinda gal.

Accountability: I followed the diet of a very hung over person yesterday just trying to get rid of the yuck. I promise I'm back and feeling great today. The sky, when I was driving in to work today, actually looked bluer than usual, has anyone else noticed it?

TSS: 2 years 5 Month 1 day 135.8 (lowest 130.8)

CB: Dark roast coffee with SF ID Caramel Macchiato w/Miralax and Fiber

MS: Oikos Salted Caramel triple zero Greek yogurt, fresh strawberry's and maybe an elevation low carb bar if needed .

CB2: Dark roast coffee with SF ID Caramel Macchiato

L: RGF stuffed chicken breast, celery, home made blue cheese dressing.

D: crack chicken

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and my blood work has been good. My B12 has been High so I cut my sublingual to every 3rd or 4th day. And I have now added 500mg of Magnesium

Exercise: 3 mile run weather permitting.

Everybody have a Great day.

Brightest Blessings,

Chrissy

Good morning! I feel like I am Covid-19 official now. Had my first Zoom session last night to wish a dear friend a Happy 70th birthday. It was a mix of young and old, or more appropriately, computer challenged and computer wizards. Pretty much a s%&t show...but funny as all get out. I'm choosing to stay away from groups/stores etc. I will be expanding my bubble here in the next few weeks. But only allowing in a very small number of people and I have my polka dot mask to wear.

QOTD: ALPHA FEMALE. No question. The majority of people who meet me think that and controlling right away. I'm on the short side, with a distinct squeaky voice and (again, I blame this on my military life upbringing) if I am in a situation where I am uncomfortable, my control freak comes out. Once you get to know me, you know that A) I really am an alpha type and love to be in charge B) I would give you everything I own and love if it would bring you happiness C) I'm actually very insecure. My husband is probably the only one that notices, but at new events or uncomfortable outings, he'll look over his should at me behind his back and ask if I am hiding. And that is usually the case. My son called me the anchor that keeps our large extended not very related family tethered together in a Mother's Day Instagram post and I think that is the nicest thing he's ever said about me.

Menu:

B protein coffee to start. hard boiled egg and cottage cheese in a couple hours

L: 2.5 ounce chicken thigh, low fat string

D: not sure, but thinking a little charcuterie plate. Sticking with proteins for now. (side note, 4 day streak of getting 60+ grams of protein in. I'm on a roll!)

Phone appt with my doc this morning for my monthly appointment. Which questions will I forget to ask this time?

Peace Everyone!

Our personalities sound very similar. I am always the type A, in-charge person, no matter whether it is work or family life.

Hi everybody. I am a little over 7 years out and have regained 22 pounds. I have been following for a few weeks, those of you doing weigh****chers and have joined the band wagon. Day one so far so good!

I am in the same boat (7 years out, regain) though my regain is more than 22 lbs :( I find that this community is an amazing support system - come often, post, get to know people, and let people get to know you. You're among your own kind here! Good luck (to both of us!). :)

Welcome - yes, WW worked for me in losing a 20 pound regain. But it wasn't fast - it took about 4.5 months (and I'm still hovering higher in my target range than I would like to be).
