Good morning ~ That trip sounds incredible, enjoy the movie! I get you on the blahs... One look at my face in the mirror - puffy and bags under my eyes and I did not want to work out. I said to myself - just do it, followed by I think I'm getting a migraine, just do it, my stomach is a little upset, just do it, I'm so tired... I did it. It felt great. Done. I had a nice weekend, lots of cooking yesterday and I'm ready for the week. Easy work calendar today, lots coming up soon though. I finished Hidden Pictures this weekend. It usually takes me week to finish a book since I only listen on my commute, but yesterday I listened all day while I was cooking, I couldn't stop - it was so good! Highly recommend.
QOTD - I pretty much answered that question above! But I'll add - I look ahead at something to look forward to like today, I packed amazing food, I'm starting a new book - Verity this morning, my son is coming over for dinner - I'm making stuffed peppers....Scratch Verity - The Institute just became available so Steven King it is!
Accountability - Okay, but too many tastes while cooking all day
b- coffee, homemade egg bites
l- chicken, feta, lettuce, tomato, onion, Kalamata olives, lemon vinaigrette
d - stuffed peppers
e - day 6 of IFIT July Challenge and stretching
Have a wonderful day!

I just added Verity to my library hold list. I saw that it was one of the most popular audible books. however, I am going to read it. I see I have the Lincoln Highway available from the library so that is next after I finish the book I am reading called the Gifted School.

I read the Institute (actually audio book). I really liked it. I have never seen the Green Mile so that is also on my audio library. I like his less horror books. A little super natural but not too crazy.

Good Morning Jen and Menuers,
Well weather in Pittsburgh has been gray and dreary all weekend. It dod not put a damper on our Family Picnic. We had a big turn out and it was always nice getting caught up., On the other hand I am sick as a dog and have been since last Thursday. My ears itch my nose runs and I am stuffed up beyond belief. I been taking Sudafed and Squirting Sinex up my knows every 4 hours. I started with some Benadryl last night to see if I can dry this stuff up.
So I made somewhat healthy choices for the picnic yesterday to find my 83 year old mother walking around and eating off of other family's tables. Not that anyone minded but I guess my healthy choices are not good enough for her. Next year it will be 60's picnic staples on the menu. I will make fried chicken, potato salad, Deviled eggs, and baked beans. Anything to make her happy. And keep her from eating off of other family's tables.
QOTD: Very seldom happens, I am usually hit the road running kind of person. So I guess I am a bite the bullet and move on kinda person.
