Wow you must have had a lot of burnt toast. You are quite the crooner.

I'd use the scientific method. Get a half dozen loaves of different kinds of bread, some English muffins, and some bagels. Then put one specific type at a time into the various slots, recording the settings, and see the results. Make a spreadsheet and graph each slot for each type of bread and the resulting color and doneness. And don't forget plenty of butter.

Or, and here's a novel idea, read the manual.

Grim-there is a variable that can change each time you re-buy a product (or even the "age" of the item after you have purchased it). The level of moisture/dryness of the item. This changes cook (toasting) time. You need to add that variable or use a whisker chart that shows the variation in settings based on level of moisture/dryness. Just a thought on the scientific method you proposed. We would want to have accurate and through results!

that toaster must be complicated or maybe instruction manual would help? Your bagel misadventures are amusing to read but sound soul destroying for you! You got this! just a little more "practice" to get it correct.

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

Thank you for reminding me this week has a Friday in it. As excited as I am about the weekend, I got a bunch to do. Saturday is the Italian Festival, and I will be helping selling Sausage until a party I have at 3:30 with friend of my husband that I need to take a appetizer and dessert to. So, in all reality weekend will not be the break I very much need. I have been up running around to doctors appointments with DH and Mom all morning. Just glad that is over.

QOTD: I love estate sales, flea markets, rummage sales, anywhere I can find great clothing cheap. No necessarily antiquing.

Accountability: I been snacking on Rosemary Marcona almonds. Found them at Aldi at a good price and they were hard to pass up.

Accountability: I am lacking on exercise, but I am doing well on food.

TSS: 5 years 9-month 9-days 158.6 Lowest (129.4)

B: Coffee with SF ID Pumpkin Spice creamer

MS: L&F pumpkin Greek yogurt and berries,

CB: Coffee with SF ID Pumpkin Spice creamer

L: crack chicken and balanced breaks

D: Salad grilled chicken and feta with a balsamic dressing.

Exercise: Dog walking.

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great day my friends.

Brightest Blessings,

Chrissy

I've never figured out what "rummage" is. It's a very odd word.
