No news since late Aug. Seems like she is a smart one and has gone incognito or has left the area. But she is free and that's all that matters.

Good morning all and Happy Wednesday,

I can see clearly now; the rain is gone. It's a beautiful day, today.

QOTD- I've never been antiquing. It really appeals to me. I'm concerned that I would buy everything. I need to start sourcing more often and it seems like antiquing is a place I hadn't considered.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, 1/2 gluten free cookie for a friend's birthday.

L: pp shake.

D: Beijing Duck Service at Sun Wah BBQ. On a wooden cart, they carve the duck table side. It produces duck bao, duck soup, duck fried rice, and duck noodles. There will also be Chinese broccoli..

I wish I was better at planning for the future and had a 5-year plan. I am not sure how people do it. I can do it if I Master's degree, complete in planksgiving in November, get certified in a specialty. All of these are shorter term goals. I think schools should teach long-term planning to students in high school. This could include budgeting for the future. Of course, daily meal and workout planning.

QJB-do you ever use Airbourne to help fight the cold or shorten the course? I feel like it does work if you get right on it. I will admit that I do buy fun treats for my family that I won't eat. I guess I live vicariously through them in that regard. Not very helpful with their eating habits though.

Yesterday, DS and I drove to the local college to check out where his classes are. I am glad we did as one of the buildings had the worst map plus, they built a new building onto an old building. Luckily, we found someone who was willing to help us navigate the building to find the rooms. Once the person showed us it wasn't even complicated. I think part of the problem was the way they hung the map of the building did not give you the correct perspective of where you were and where you needed to be. This morning was a late work start since DD had a podiatry appt. She suffers with some back discomfort. We had sent her to a chiropractor and PT a few years ago. After finally getting some x-rays it was discovered that one leg is slightly shorter than the other. Then we went to a podiatrist who gave her a heel lift (about 1cm in height). This seemed to help a little, but she still complained of back pain. We noticed that her feet over-pronate so we made another appt to the podiatrist, he is recommending shoe orthotics. We will give those a shot to see if this resolves her back issues. Hopefully, it does. DH wore orthotics for many years then eventually just got rid of them because he was tired of trying to find shoes they worked in. His problem was feet supination not pronation. Due to my late work start I did get my weight workout in this morning (which I did not do yesterday).

Last evening, I totally forgot DD and I were scheduled to see Tina the Musical! Fortunately, I was able to call and reschedule the tickets for Sunday matinee! Whew, close call.

QOTD: DD and I like to thrift/antique shop for clothes, jewelry, books, and fun household items. I do like antique furniture but it does not fit my house decoration style. DD has bought old Zane Gray and Louis L'Amour books in hardback. I was on a quest for old Pyrex bowls for a good buy. We haven't been in a minute.

Accountability: I have been a bad girl in regard to my no-sugar added chocolates lately. Eating more than I allotted. I feel like I am a little flabby around the middle (I think I also have some water retention from my trip to CA-I will weigh on Saturday) so I have made some adjustments to the amount of sf chocolates I can have. Back to the 6-pc serving.

All meals are the same except:

Snack: mid-afternoon 90 Cal whey protein frosty (since I am doing a later yoga class today), evening usual protein frosty, and 6-pc sf chocolate. This will come in at less calories...

I think I've asked before, but what is in your protein frosty? Makes me think of soft serve and sounds good.

1 chocolate premiere protein (or protein of your choice), sf syrup (I like caramel), 3 TBSP sf chocolate (or vanilla) pudding mix, 4-5 ice cubes use blender to combine and crush ice. I use a ninja bullet. I then place in the freezer until consistency is soft serve. I have also used vanilla flavored protein and added root beer extract or sf orange water enhancer to different flavors.
