What's on your Thursday Menu?

Good Friday-eve Gang!! I made a big pot of chili last night and got my black garlic going. Can't wait to watch the Pats and Jets tonight. It should be a good game. Not much else going on today work has been slow for once.

This cold weather is doing a number on my drying out my hands even though I use gloves when outside. I've got to get some good hand lotion.

QOTD: What protein do you eat the most? While I eat a variety of proteins my main one is chicken done different ways. I find ground chicken and thighs are the easiest to eat.

Good mornin y'all.

We're getting the sump pump replaced this morning. Hopefully it won't take all day. They have to change a couple of pipes out so we're not sure how long it'll take. Fingers crossed for shorter time than a long time.

I'm incredibly stressed out right now. Interest kicked in and I now interest on the whole amount rather than what was left to pay. I had asked my mom to borrow the money and I'd pay her back. Nope. Now it's 1000 more dollars. Yet she bought a freak house for my brother and is letting them pay 450 a month on it. I asked to borrow 550 dollars. I am very very upset with it and her. Trying not to let it show with her as there is no point. I just feel so insignificant to her. I took care of her parents here in this house and I'll be the one taking care of her more than likely. I guess to her that's all I'm good for...saving money and saving them from doing the "dirty" work. I'm just hurt so my apologies for griping.

We got our turkey breasts for thanksgiving. All w have left to do is minor things. Of course I'll be doing the majority of it as my mom backed out of my brother and SIL bringing but one thing, I have to make brownies and I'll prob make some other dessert that they choose since my request was rejected and I can't afford to buy the supplies to make what I want.
