Good morning everyone.

my stomach is upset today. A mix of nerves(eye surgery tomorrow) and other stuff. Eating hasn't been fantastic.

It was my first Father's Day without a official father. I found out through a police officer in May that my birth father died in February. My grandpa had been in almost every way my father. It was sad for me though. He died from chronic alcohol abuse. Long story...lots of long stories. It was weird...just weird.

Either way today is a new new day and i'm Feeling upbeat.

Good morning everyone.

i'm having eye surgery this week on the left eye and next week on the right. Thanks to the years of uncontrolled diabetes that led to diabetic retinopathy I have cataracts. I'm 38 and embarrassed. BUT it is what it is. I'm nervous, mostly about the IV stuff getting started.

QOTD: usually chainmaille or some type of craft.

Good Saturday afternoon everyone!

having a productive day but i'm running low on energy. Enjoying an iced decaf coconut chai. I wasn't able to have anything "spicy" or flavorful for the better part of 8 months. I love chai and it's nice to sip on it again!

I'm trying to see more positive stuff in my life. It's easy to find the negative but for some reason the positive doesn't always show as much. I'll make a concerted effort to appreciate the good and sometimes even the bad. Today is definitely the chai tea!

m1:PP shake

m2:puréed chicken salad

m3:butternut squash puréed with sage and broth

m4:PP shake

m5:butternut squash same as above

m6:SF creamer and maybe a few tbs of the chicken purée.

exercise has been a lot of cleaning(not heavy duty stuff).

i've always had a slight tremor esp when stressed outta my gourd. Since surgery these have become increasingly visible and harder to deal with. It's mostly on my left side that's the more visible but even my head is bobbling a bit.

i always chalked it up to my psych meds but i'm Not sure now. I'm having a hard time completing an order(I do chainmaille jewelry) and i'm a bit concerned.

i see my psychiatrist in a couple of weeks and my surgeon again next week and I plan on talking to both...just curious if others have this issue.

Thank you so much for posting this. I have BED and it's so hard and feels so shameful at times. I also tend to over exercise when I get really into it...to the point of pain.

This is such useful information and thank you again for posting it.

i know i'm still rather fresh post-op but i've got to ask...when does the energy levels go up?

i think I lucked out with my VSG and never felt this depleted. I take my vitamins and I get bloodwork checked next week.

man oh man did that suck.

not totally sure what did it but I had some sugar free honey mustard sauce...maybe a tsp if even that puréed with an egg. It's the only thing I can think of. My stomach hurt for hours then I finally threw up. Could of been the egg too but I had some yesterday and it didn't make me sick.

now I know to just throw that sauce in the trash. I was so fearful I had done something to my pouch. Now it still feels off but it's very much better.

Good morning,

i?m late in getting started today. I was so tired yesterday that I didn?t get much done. Most of today will be a busy one, lots of running around. We are waiting also to hear when the roofers will do our shed and stairwell. We had damage from a windstorm in MARCH! At least they fixed the house roof already but the stairwell to the basement has leaked a lot and we are not happy. We aren?t a big money job.

Not much planned this weekend. Might go watch some soccer games my nieces are having today if my tummy cooperates. I really hate going as there are something like 15 games going on in this huge field. With my anxiety the amount of people, esp kids, kind of freak me out. Topic: RE: Extreme itchiness?

i'm having extreme itchiness and redness on my incision sites and where I was given the numbing shots on my stomach. They are not hot and my surgeon said it's some type of allergic reaction. My question is what?

when I had VSG done last year I didn't have any reactions. When I had my gallbladder out I did and this time I did. The only difference I can think of is the surgeon used a robotic system on the last two.

I'm wondering if it used something i'm allergic to. The itchy stuff is driving me crazy! I'm taking Zyrtec but it's barely helping and Benadryl helps for a few hours.

Good morning!

i'm having Some sort of allergic reaction on my incisions. My doctor was perplexed and said to take some allergy pills to hopefully help. My day doesn't have much planned, a grocery/household needs trip is planned. I'm working on very little sleep thanks to the itchiness.

QOTD: I do see a therapist and i'm Going to start a different one in July that specializes in eating disorders. I have BED so i'm actually looking forward to working on it. My current therapist is good but she doesn't know much about BED stuff. I have tons of emotional crud to talk with her about.
