I'm on the two week pre-op diet. Thanks to that & Mother Nature i'm A grump!
qotd: I use a twin mattress and I hate it. I'm 6'2" so yeah...my feet hang off. I'm hoping to get a full in a year or so.

I love photography so I love this post!
this was from a few years ago but one of my favorites. Milk, food dye and a q-tip dipped in dawn.
This is just from a rom a few weeks ago from my backyard!

I'm super freaking out! Not even sure how to handle myself tbh. I also found out I have to have eye surgery in mid and late June. Sooo much on my mind!
I know it's common to feel nervous but on top of my anxiety issues it sure doesn't feel normal! Lol.
we'll rock this!

You'll be before mine! Mines in about 18 days! On the 29th to be exact!
i'm so Nervous! So much more than when I had the vsg! I'm ready though!
wishing you much luck on this journey!

I was shocked to find out I was approved for my revision today and scheduled for the 29th of this month!
I had vsg on 3-14-18. I'm so ready to get this thing going. It's not an easy fix and I know it'll be hard but i'm ready to take my life back!
I wont lie...i'm Scared! I know i've said that before but it's true.
does anyone have a certain bullet journal type thing you'd suggest? I'm looking for letter sized for a regular note book. I want to do it for at least 2-3 months....most likely a year. I've found some printable stuff on Etsy but i'm open to suggestions!

Not sure this will fit in with this since I am waiting on a revision but here is my fantasy meal atm.
Anything Mexican. I haven't been able to eat it in 7-8 months now. I miss it(and well all the flavors.)
breakfast: egg with a tiny bit of black beans and fajita seasoning.
lunch: a taco made with a cheese shell and tomatoes...oh and taco seasoned hamburger meat.
dinner would be a small piece of chicken breast, a faux rice(cauliflower) green chili casserole.
i miss quality food!lol

Thanks!
I hear you there! I have a few friends who?ve had WLS and they are great to talk with but we still don?t want to talk about it all the time.
The gerd was/is so bad I woke up chocking on acid more than once. My quality of food has made the depression worse too. I can?t do garlic, pepper, salt or much onion. I?m working on things constantly in my head.

i have a tentative date, well week of surgery, set. I should find out more info Monday. It's looking like the week of Memorial Day.
i'm a wee bit afraid but not doubting this revision.
After the past 6-8 months I know I need something for this GERD. I'm still on a waiting list to see a specialist for BED. I had an appointment but had to cancel due to illness.
I will be the first to admit my eating has been less than stellar. I am a work in progress as we all are.
not sure what the point of this post is lol. I have very little people to talk to about this stuff.

Thanks for your reply!
it has been miserable! I'm so ready for it to be over.

I had terrible nausea the day or so after my VSG. Threw up everything that went down for 24 hours. Then everything was great. Until the acid started!
Thanks for the reply!

i had VSG on March 18,2018.
Acid issues started in late July. Other stuff happened...ok a lot of other stuff. Had my gallbladder out in February hoping it'd help...which it didn't.
I don't have a date yet as the scheduler was out this last week. The surgeon is wanting it soon...May or June.
what advice could you share? I am not really nervous about the procedure but the differences in the after care. I am doing a lot of research but i'm Looking for personal experiences.
thanks!
