endoscopy done yesterday

well I had it done, my pouch is good and the right size and openings, BUT I have Thrush- yeast infection from my throat all the way down in my pouch,  I have no clue how I got it. Does any one know how you get it and why and has any one ever had this?  I have had it at least 2 months, I got really sick and couldnt talk and saw a white spot back of my throat thought I had strep.  They called in the Zpac and then a few days later I saw my pcp and she said it was a virus. Now I find out it is thrush, Any one have any info on this that you can share? Annrenee

I am glad they found out what it is and now they can get it cleared up. Hope you get to feeling better soon. I am not sure how you get that. I know when I was in the hospital on heavy IV antibiotics, I got yeast in my mouth and they said that antibiotics does that. It was the most disguisting thing. But other than heavy antibiodics, I do not know.

Misty, Thank you for replying...... I havent been on alot of antibotics I know that is one way of getting it other then that I have no clue but I do know it hurts like crazy, He gave me some lozengers to suck on several times aday, hopefully it will take care of it, I am going back to eating soft foods and drinking protien, Thought about doing that 5 day pouch test,  i gues that is what is causing all the gas STINKY and bloating, since he didnt do the other end i just wonder if my colon is full of it to, by the end of the day I sware I look 9 months pg. and it hurts, other then a sore throat a couple of months ago I have no idea how I got this and why.I would love to do a total body cleansing thing but not sure how and not sure what to take.  well thank you again for your reply. Hi Annrenee: I am sorry that you do not feel well.  I hope you feel better soon.  I do not know anything about Thrush but maybe if you google it you could get a lot of information.
