Home from Pain Management Doctor
You are so right Gina.  I have been taking Tramadol (50mg) twice a day.  Maybe he will just up that.  Wore the Lynacane patch to bed last night and woke up feeling a little less sore this morning.  I do plan on calling him this morning though about the Ultram and see what he wants me to do!  Thanks for your help!  Hugs.  Michelle
I wish I knew the answers to your question.   All I know is my surgeon said to NEVER take Extended release medications.    They do not work the way for us as with normal people.   I guess it has something to do with our malabsorptive WLS.

Michelle....we DO NOT absorb extended release pills the way that they should work.    I think I would call and let him know this.   I know my PCP gave me some extended release pills and they kept me awake all night.    Not fun.    Just thought that I would remind you of this.   Good luck and so glad that you had a good experience with them.   Hope that they can help you with your problems and make  you feel better.
