HAPPY MOTHERS DAY EVERYONE.
I have been a Mom for almost 29 yrs now. I have 3 sons, 28 ( 29 in July ), 24, and 19. My Mom lives in Heaven so I can't spend time with her today unless God has plans for that. Anyway....we will be spending part of our day with my MIL and SIL later on. Not sure what other plans are in store though. Have a great day !!!

Never birthed any children but have mothered a few. There's always 4 legged fur children around. My Mother has been gone 31 years, been thinking about her today. Wonder what she would think if this journey I'm on. I think she'd be proud. I'm older now than she was when she died, since I always looked like her I can look in the mirror and visualize what she would look like now.

guess all us mommies are sleeping in! Woo hoo! What are your plans for today?

Will you be spending today with your mom? NOPE Unfortuneately I lost my mom in 96....but I can't wait for my daughter to realize today is MOM's day !! lol
What are your plans for today?
The only thing that I've done so far is:
Worked for 5 hours at the 3rd job 7-12....pm
Came home and started lunches/dinners for the week for me and whoever else wants to eat.....
Lasagna is in the oven
HUGE crockpot of chicken and noodles (mostly for brother) but I will have some...good protein there I think...I'll pick out the chicken....
Cooking a pkg of turkey bacon to cut up into pieces for mini omlets for breakfasts.... - I was thinking of making a small pan of fettechini with some of the chicken I cooked all night in the crockpot in chicken broth for either lunch or dinner one night for me......
Now - I'm tired and its 2pm...thinking of taking a little nap - but afraid that the day will just zoom by and I'll miss getting done what I would like to get done to stay organized for the week - since i don't do much in the evenings when I get home from work....
So - oven is on...
laundry & dryer going.....
crockpot on...
small nu-wave oven cooking bacon
and dishwasher runnig...

- As of 11-10-13 I have had weight gain. Not happy about that.

Phyllis.....you make me tired just reading what all you have done today. LOL You sound like me !!!! I did laundry this AM.....worked in my flower beds.......slept in ( didn't make it to church today ).....went and ate breakfast with my family. Went to Walmart and bought a pair of capris !!! I am about to go eat lunch ( or maybe I should say a early dinner ) with my family and MIL and SIL. THen come home and clean. I am contemplating going to 24 hour fitness tomorrow. Liz got me motivated on sat. at R & S. LOL Have a great day and dont work too hard girl !!!!

Happy Mother's Day all! I'm hoping on the train late because I managed to blow the electricity out this morning and by the time we got it fixed we had to head out to church. Turns out one whole side of our apartment is on one circuit, and my hair dryer was pulling too many amps or volts or watts or something. All is well now though.
Nice service a church, then we went to lunch at a Thai restaurant with the in-laws. I did good this year, I managed to make both my Mom and Mom-in-law cry with the cards I got them. Go Me!! LOL, I had cards made for each of them with pictures of the kids and them. Very cute, very touching. I got mom-to-be cards from my parents and in-laws and Jeff gave me a flower so I had a nice mom-to-be day myself.
Jeff is taking a nap now and then we're hitting the books again to try to finish up his project. He has to turn it in on Tuesday and there is a lot to do. My philosophy on it, that I'm trying to ram into his head, is do as much as you can the best that you and turn it in. Take whatever the grade is and be proud of doing the best job possible in a very difficult situation. I will be glad when Tues night is over and he has some down time.
OK off to wake up sleeping beauty. Hope all the Moms of every kind of kid are having a great day!

Happy Be-lated Mother's Day OH Family!
Gave birth to my son Chad 30 years ago daughter 24. Have also been a host mom to kiddos from around the world. I was trying to remember what I did last year on Mother's Day? Rick reminded me that my Mom was in ICU last Mother's Day and on a vent. We thought God was going to call her home, but he blessed us with with letting us have her longer and blessed us with Hospice Angels that have not only taken such good care of her but my dad also. Just wanted you to know that .....your loved!
