Prayers needed for Deanne Shaw!!!!!
hey yall,
yall know my roomie, Deanne Shaw, has been battling Strep and Mono in some form or fashion since Jan. About 10 days ago, the infectious disease doc put a PICC line in so she could do IV antibiotics at home (im not a nurse nor do i play one on tv) . This morning she headed to the ER with a giant blood clot right in the neck/collorbone area of the PICC. When they pulled the PICC out came the clot!. However, they are keeping her until at least monday, with the anticipitation of her throwing a few more. She is currently having a wonderful relationship with Mr Morphine right now tho, thank goodness lol.
She is not currently allowed any visitors per the ID doc... as he has her on strict precautions.
So, if you are so inclined, a prayer, swing some livestock, sacrifice a virgin if you can find one in this day and age... whatever it is you do ... im sure she would appreciate it.

Liz....please tell Deanne that we are saying lots of prayers for her and her recovery. Mono and Strep can be really tough on you....I know cause my baby boy ( 19 ) had it for 3 weeks and had to drop some of his college classes due to that. Prayers that the blood clots go away and she doesn't have anymore. Thanks for letting us know and please keep us updated on her.
