I have a surgery date!

Make room for me on the losers bench I officially have a surgery date. Talked to my surgeon's office this morning and the hospital does have June 18th available. So June 18th at 7:30am will be my surgery and a new start to my life. I can't wait! I have my pre-op next Wednesday.
All of a sudden the reality of what I am doing has set in today. Knowing I have a surgery date set makes it all real and has my heart skipping beats with joy! I was unprepared for it to come this quick but like I am complaining! Sooner the better!

 Congratulations on your date.   WOW that is so quickly too.   I am with you....the sooner you get it done the quicker you will be on the loosers bench with the rest of us.

CONGRATS!! I am jealous! You got your date so fast! I'm trying to stay calm waiting till July 6th!

I am still in shock I got a surgery date that fast! Originally they were saying it was typically 2 weeks after approval. When she said I could get in next week I was in shock!
