The Nigh****chman - Sun 6/13
Hope everyone is staying cool! Be sure to get your liquids in this week as the weatherman said it is supposed to be mega hot with heat indexes over 100 so remember to keep hydrated!
Just a reminder, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS AND SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.
If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested). Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Good news at work last night. We are getting ready to do our vacation bid for the rest of the year. And I have #1 seniority, so mine will be approved regardless.
Also got word that I was in the top 15% of the customer care reps for the month of May. That makes four out of five months this year. I was number 4 for May and April. Number 10 or so for Jan and Mar. Feb I did not make it, but my scores were high enough that I was among the top 15% for the quarter. Wonder what the new company's incentive programs will be like.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
Congrats on your top rankings! Heaven only knows how many BAD customer "care" reps for businesses we've all had so it's great to know they DO exist!!! So many cranky people out there these days.
Well, got a very unique Father's Day gift for Paul today. The two older girls, my parents, and myself all went to a benefit lunch for the one student in V's grade who was killed by the drunk driver back over spring break. We didn't go until about a half hour before they were supposed to be over at 4pm, so we got our food to go, but they had a bunch of silent auction items to bid on. OMG George, over half of the items had NO bids. I don't know if people didn't see the table or what. I think one problem was the place was out in the country. There were NO signs directing people anywhere. The only sign was right out in front of their place. Maybe they would have had more people had they posted arrows advertising the benefit and how to get there but they didn't. So, they had a REAL slot machine (the smaller ones that are about three foot tall) there. When I got there the bid was like $75! I couldn't believe it because even used, those things sell for $500-1000! We ended up getting it for like $160. When I wrote the check, I just rounded up as this was a benefit. The family will surpass their one million dollar cap, not to mention the loss of a child. I just couldn't imagine!!! So, I'm hiding the machine for a week.
Tomorrow will be cleaning day for me. I have a new stand up freezer coming on Tuesday that is much bigger than the one I have so I need to make some room for it!
Guess I'd better hit the hay!
