Dear WLS Family,

I just wanted to pop over and say thank you for all your prayers and posts on FB.  Mom made a decision yesterday to transition to Hospice today.  They will be coming later to do the intake with us. She has decided to stop the Chemo as well.  Since the last treatment she has been miserable, sleeping all the time, very confused and not able to enjoy the life she has left.  She has basically stopped eating, but she does love a good Protein Shake so I try and make one sometimes two a day for her!  Again thank you for all your support and prayers.  Not sure about how much time we have left only God knows that but I am going to treasure every day weather it is out walking at the beach or sitting next to her in her chair!  I love you guys.  Thanks again

You have my prayers and condolences, Michelle.  I'm sure that I will be facing the same decision with my own mother later this year, so I know how tough it can be.

Love,

Karen

Michelle.....my heart breaks for you and your family right now.    This is a very difficult time for her and for her family as well.    I am sure that she has probably prayed alot about this decision and I am sure that God has given her a peace about it....but still it doesn't make things easier for you....her family.    As a person who has both of my parents living in heaven now....enjoy and treasure every minute that you have left with her.   Let her know every day how very much that you love her and cherish the life and childhood that she gave you....say all the things now to her so that you will have no regret of not saying them when the time does come for her to enter heaven's gates.    I know that God will wrap his loving arms around your family and your Mom at this time.   We love you and we will all be here to hug and love you when you need it.   You are NOT alone in this.   Prayers big time going out for your Mom and your family.   Love ya !!!

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Oh Michelle,

I am so sorry for the pain that you are going through.  I hope that it will give you some comfort in knowing that your mom will not be suffering now that she is going into hospice.  Please know that your whole family is in my prayers.

I just popped over here to see what was going on and read your post from yesterday.  I know that this is one of the most difficult decisions made in a family, and my heart goes out to you and yours.  I'll continue to keep y'all in my thoughts and prayers.  I'm so glad that you have had this time with your Mom, I'm sure that you guys created some wonderful memories to help you through the dark times.

Hugs, Mari
