Good afternoon all.  Weather stays the same, just a few showers added in.  Temperature still high.

Glad to see Phyllis got to ND with limited problems.  (Who goes TO North Dakota?)

Safe travels for those traveling this weekend.

Just a reminder, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  AND SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Norma - prayers that the contract comes smoothly for the house.

Phyllis requests prayer for her co-worker Norma B. who will  be out of work for 3-4 months.  She has loss the use of her right hand, unknown for how long now.

Geez, am I first tonight???  Had a late dinner, now need to do some major clean up.  Bug guy coming tomorrow so the more I get away from the walls, the more areas he can spray.  I hate bugs.  Only way I want to see those suckers is upside down and DEAD!  BLECH!!!

The house is quiet without the two youngest around.  Of course, my parents are having to deal with them.  Aaah, the joys of the "handoff"....even though it's only for another week!  We leave to head up there next Saturday.  Heather has one more week (four days) of her summer Economics class and then she's done.  Now gotta hope we don't get walloped by a tropical storm!  Perfect, just what we need...storm surge with a bit of oil in it.  YUCK!

Buuuuut, the prediction of the storm possibly coming this way is just a good reminder for me to get my basics ready.  Make sure I have batteries for the flashlights, gas tanks filled in the car, extra gas for the generator in case that is needed, yard mowed (helps with drainage of yard), etc.  If everyone makes sure they have their basics ahead of time, there is no need to waste time in long lines at the grocery store, gas station, etc.  Hurricane season starts June 1st and lasts until November.  Now is a good time to get everything ready that we can!

Ok, time to get busy....

Later!
