The NIGH****CHMAN - 6/30 - Wednesday
Some excitement with the family early this morning.
I received a call from my son at 2AM. That is never a good thing.
He was woken up by his neighbor pounding on his door. His neighbor had come outside to smoke a cigar. He heard a loud noise. It was a motorcycle falling over. At this point the neighbor noticed my son's motorcycle was not in the driveway. The neighbor looked down the block and the guy had picked up the motorcycle and was walking it away. The neighbor pounded on Brad's door. When Brad came to the door, he told Brad what he saw. Brad ran in to get his gun (he has a CHL). Meanwhile, the neighbor and Oleta had run down the block to the guy with the motorcyle. Why the guy did not just leave the bike and run is beyond me.
Brad held the gun on him until the police got there. After getting all the statements, they tried to put cuffs on the guy. He resisted. Tasers come out and he gets zapped. Pees his pants.
At this point they have to call the Sargent and medics because they had used the taser. The Sargent arrived and asked my son why he did not just shoot the guy.
Bottom line, the guy was arrested. My son got his bike back. And I had to call him to make sure he got up this morning (that is why he called me).
Just a reminder, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS AND SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

Avis is requesting prayers of clarity as she tries to make a decision regarding her employment at her current company. She needs to make sure any move she makes is the Lord's choice.
Cajungirl (Dana) requests prayer for her family for guidance, peace and understanding during a current family situation. Also, her sister will be undergoing surgery on 6/8 because her Titanium plate broke. Also, an added, unspoken concern.
Gina L. - Requests prayer for Baby JJ (her great-nephew). JJ's 2nd tumor was removed and starts his second round of Chemo soon. His Daddy graduated from HS last week! Also add Bill to the list. He has been having gallbladder symptoms/problems and she is trying to get him to the doc.
Jennifer - prayer for the sale of their house in San Antonio. It has been 11 months now and there are some glimmers of hope sometimes, but others not so much.
Michelle S. - Michelle's mother's passed away. Her uncle has been moved from hospice to a nursing home. Her Dad is having a hard time dealing with it all and sometimes his actions hurt the ones he loves.
Nina - Pray for cousin, that he be guided in the right direction with his marraige. Also a close friend is struggling with some inner demons, needs lots of prayers!!
Norma - prayers that the contract comes smoothly for the house.
Phyllis requests prayer for her co-worker Norma B. who will be out of work for 3-4 months. She has loss the use of her right hand, unknown for how long now.
Vivian - asks prayers for Michelle S. and her family as her mother has passed away.
