5 Months Post-Op (Pictures) X Post
I can't believe it! On this date 5 months ago I was already back in my room from recovery. I was completely wiped out but strangely enough not in any real pain at all. That came later on in the night and next day. I got up pretty soon and started walking. I got a bit nauseous and had to quickly sit in a chair before I passed out. I started my journey at 222 Lbs. On the day of surgery I was 217 pounds. Today I'm at 160 1/2 Lbs! Feeling really good. I have had some problems with gastritis (pouch inflammation) that has seem to gone away now. I'm at the gym 3 days a week. My goal is 5 days. I'll get there soon. I have more energy when I get home from work. I don't have to pass out on the couch now. I can wash dishes and other chores before bed. Food does not control my life anymore I control my food. I take better care of me which had not done in the past.
Pre-Op 217 Lbs

Today 5 Months Out 160 1/2 Lbs!

I'm just sooo excited. I feel like my life is beginning again. Not too shabby for a woman over forty huh? Ha Ha. I feel so blessed that the Lord has allowed me this opportunity.
