MEGGIE-hope our Ken had a wondeful day!!!!

He had a fabulous day and is very excited about our journey to New Braunfels to see his neice Tracey,tubing on the river and coffee with Ms Becky!! The only place we have really been in 3 years is ERs and hospitals so I am glad I could make this happen for him!! Woo hoo!Thanks to all of you and the many FB friends for the many well wishes, he feels really loved today!

Happy Sunday to everyone!!! I didn't get the house cleaned yesterday so that is first on the agenda today.  Then I hope to go catch a movie and get out of this heat and humidity!! It is so sticky right now.  Yesterday I bought some blueberry plants and blackberry plants.  We got them planted.  I can't wait until next spring when they have fruit!

The train took a detour to GA, but is headed straight back to TX.

In other words, I am back home in GA, and I am already missing Don and Bridgette (fur child).  Bridgette had this look on her face saying 'Why are you leaving me...I want you here' when Don & I were leaving to go to the airport.  This morning I am catching up on all the financial stuff...mine, my parents, and the other house bills, etc.  This afternoon will be the laundry, and continuing to put my house back together following having it painted, etc.  I do need to go to the other house today to get some furniture to put in storage.

 Hope you get all your things done Norma.   Wish you were moving to Texas soon.   I know Don and Bridgette wish  that also.    Have a great day,

I am in North Atlanta...******* 

I've been busy all day but couldn't really tell ya why...sure haven't gotten much accomplished. I have a big do rag order to get finished and ready for the mail tomorrow so that's next on my list. Beast is grilling today so the chicken has been marinading in greek yogurt overnight....sure hope that works like claimed. The shrimp are peeled and skewered, corn is husked, zuchinni and yellow squash are sliced and all is ready to put on the pit. I've got a big pot of pintos on the stove. This weeks eats should be quick and thought-free!

We might try to go to a movie this evening but we usually peter out by then and change our minds! My knees and hip have been bothering me after I started increasing my daily walks and that makes it hard to sit for very long. Damned arthritis!
