Congratulations Dwanny. I think we all go through that thinking that we will never eat again. LOL It isn't true though. It is just a short time that you don't eat much. Congrats and we will keep you in our prayers that all works out for you to have your surgery soon.

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

Awesome! That is soooo close!
Yes! I defintely went thru the same feelings..and no I didn't really give anything up after all. The things that I can only eat in moderation are SO worth what I've gained in other areas. It was very hard for me the first few weeks because I had only lost a few pounds, was mentally thinking that I was starving and couldn't eat much besides soup. It was rough! But then I really started dropping sizes, began to feel better, added more foods to my diet and life returned to a a much more livable state. I would never go back to what I was before surgery.
Good luck!!!
