Status Change
My status is now POST-OP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I finally had surgery (RNY) on the 19th and feel great. Okay, the muscles are sit-up sore, but other than that, I'm wonderful.
I haven't been on here before, cause my brain was still a little foggy and I just didn't feel up to it.
The thing that has saved me from undoing it all, is mushroom soup. Strange huh?
I was ready to kill for food I could chew the other day, but fought the urge, and made the soup. I sip it super slow and it satisfies me.
So, make way for my ample buttocks on that bench!!!!!

well hallajulah and welcome. Girl as much *****ing as you did pre op I was about to get the scapel and do that surgery my self! So glad you are on the losing side now!, Keep sip sip sipping and walk walk walking and you will feel better in no time at all

I drove to the hospital that morning just waiting for them to say, "Oh, your surgery has been post-poned due to _______."
There were a few times I wanted to do the surgery myself, but my nurse friends wouldn't assist. Selfish!!!
I am ELATED that I have finally jumped (okay, walked around) that hurdle, and it's the road to health and confidence now.

It has been a long time coming for you but OH so worth the wait !!! So happy for you that you finally got er done !!! WOOO HOOO !!!! Dwanny is now a Looser like the rest of us !!

It's only day 8, but I can feel the weight melting off. I feel it around my armpit/breast region, my wrists, and I can see the dimple in my left (FACE) cheek.
I do want to chew on something, but, that'll come soon.
I woke up this morning thinking, "Oh, I'll order a pizza today." Old habits!!!
I feel incredible mentally because of this. Soon the physical will catch up.
