Super Sunday WLS train express
Today I am driving the train, so hold on to your seat cause this train is the super express headed your way. We will have a super quiet car for those needing some extra sleep, a Starbucks car for those needing some 'crack in a cup, and there will also be a party car too.
I will be in all three cars at some point during the day. I went to bed at my normal time last night, but at 130am I was wide awake...so I may take a morning siesta once I am board that plane. Once I am at the airport I will be getting my morning Starbucks, and then when I see Don I will be in the party car cause then I will know that this vacation is happening. In case anybody hasnt heard (yea, right!!)...Don and I are headed to Vegas today.
Hope everyone has a great day!!!
ALL ABOARD!!!!
Yesterday we had about 150 people show up. I was up on my feet helping way more than I should but I just can't sit still when people need help. I know Bryan is laughing because I can sit at home just fine. lol. No, I even came home and cleaned and made the bed and did stuff. I was so tired by 7pm. Then Chris and his 2 friends decided they wanted to have a sleepover so I caffeined it up enough to stay up till 10:30pm- till they were all asleep. I should be asleep right now- will prob fall back asleep soon.
I hope everyone has a great day today!!!

The "sound track" for today, and I hope it stays this way, has a has a PG-13 version from Peachs and Herb:

See ya' Friday!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
I have my normal Sunday routine...early church and SS, then off to pick up and few things I need at Walmart or HEB and then I will go to my sister's and visit my 17 year old niece who had gallbladder surgery Friday. She came home late yesterday. She's our little princess so needs lots of attention!
Prayers for all who need them.
Gina...hope your bug goes away!
Have a great Sunday.

wow do i need the starbucks car. i literally didnt sleep at all last nite. Such an emotionalal tryin day yesterday. unfortunately my friend is still alive and suffering horribly. i sooooo wish gina was here with me. not to say his nurses and staff arent top notch... but you know when you have a familiar face.. just makes it better. I came in yest afternoon with my sbux that i had gotten a gift card from and his nurses and aides (all 5) were teasing me about not bringing them one, they work 12 hours shifts and this was mid way thru, so i took orders, ran back and was the Queen i tell ya. Now, beaumont only has ONE free standing starbucks and its right down the road from the hospice so it wasnt a big deal lol.
I talked to his 'real ' family yesterday about saying their good byes and letting him now its ok to go and they all were receptive and idd just that, so hopefully and praying he will take that opportunity today or something very soon. so hard to watch someone you love suffer in such horrible pan and misery.
ok im sorry, for being debbie downer, no wonder i didnt sleep.
Norma, you and don have a wonderful trip, visit one of those drive thru wedding chaples while you are there hehehehehe
GINA - hope you are feeling better

When I was born, I cried and the world rejoiced. Now i wanna live my life so that when I die, the world cries and I rejoice
MIL and I went out to an awesome baby/kids consignment sale. I got to register for the pre-sale because I'm a new mom and I'm really glad we got in early. They had 84,000 items and it took over at least half of the Plano convention center. I found the lightweight stroller I've been eyeing for $29 - in the store it was between $100-130! I also found a portable swing, small diaper bag, coming home outfit, newborn onesies, a few toys, some more baskets for organizing, and gifts for my niece and nephew. I was completely exhausted by the time we got home last night around 11.
Today should be more low key. Church, lunch, then pedicures with Jenny and Annette. Woohoo!! The one downer is Jeff's car has to go back into the shop for new tie rod ends. I've got to start making calls to get estimates when the shops open up at 9 so we can figure out if the car is getting fixed today or after pay day.
Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Met a wonderful man back in December/January, we had his kids for the entire summer (3 girls), and things are just now getting back to normal. My best friend got married, had a separate reception, we moved, and work has been difficult. LOL But I'm still kickin' and haven't been back in the hospital, so it's all good!

I'm pretty much at my goal--a healthy BMI. I'm just 7.5 pounds away from the arbitrary number I chose when I first started this journey. At one year out, I've inadvertently figured out just how much we need our vitamins, but I learned my lesson and I'm doing great on that score.
Today is going to be a lazy day. My BF has to work, so I'll be spending the day doing my own thing. Maybe I'll get more unpacking done.
I hope everyone is doing well!!
