I bet you've never heard ole Marshall Dylan say
Miss Kitty have you ever thought of running away
Settling down would you marry me
If I ask you twice and beg you pretty please
She'd of said Yes in a New York minute
They never tied the knot
His heart wasn't in it
He just stole a kiss as he road away
He never hung his hat up, at Kitty's place
I shoulda been a cowboy
I shoulda learned to rope and ride
Wearing my six-shooter, riding my pony, on a cattle drive
Stealing young girl's hearts
Just like Gene and Roy
Singing those campfire songs
Oh, I should've been a cowboy
I might of had a side kick with a funny name
Running wild through the hills chasing Jesse James
Ending up on the brink of danger
Riding shotgun for the Texas Rangers
Go west young man, haven't you been told
California's full of whiskey, women and gold
Sleeping out all night beneath the desert stars
With a dream in my eye, and a prayer in my heart
I shoulda been a Cowboy
I shoulda learned to rope and ride
Wearing my six-shooter, riding my pony on a cattle drive
Stealing young girl's hearts
Just like Gene and Roy
Singing those campfire songs
Oh, I should've been a cowboy
Oh, I should've been a cowboy
Oh, I should've been a cowboy
Oh, I should've been a cowboy
Ya'll have a great day my friends!

This week is going by SLOWLY! I have been on my feet hours on end. Yesterday I taught kitchen/cooking skills- don't laugh, those who can't, teach remember- and I was on my feet for 4 hours straight. Then I got a call that said Chris had a bad pain in his left side. I had them let him lay down and then try to eat lunch but he still felt bad so I had to go get him. He felt better by the evening. Today we are headed out to WalMart so the consumers can practice shopping. Then this afternoon we are volunteering at the TC Food Bank.
All this talk about the cruise is getting me even more excited. I can't wait! Not too much longer now!
Hope everyone has a great day!
Glad you are getting to see your mom Karen!
Prayers for all who need them.
HOpe everyone has a great day.

After our spa day, my friend and I indulged at lunch off the small plates menu at Houlihans. I chose potato soup and the stuffed mushrooms (hello...fried). The issue came when I indulged in a bite (ok...honesty Jenn. 5 bites) of the espresso cake with ice cream for desert. I came home and was soooo full. I didn't get sick at all. I was just completely full and didn't want to eat. Absolutely nothing sounded good at all.
The good thing about my food choices (trying to find sunny side here) is the greasy/sweet food has seemed to help with, ahem, some backed up issues I've had...if you know what I mean. And I know you do. I swear I feel 3 pounds lighter this morning.
Looks like Clint is working from home today. YAY! I'll get to spend time with my sweetie. My other goals for the rest of they day include coloring my hair (I use henna so I apply in the morning and it sits on for about 10 hours), finish cleaning the kitchen and bake donuts.
Prayers for all in need. But special prayer 'shout outs' to Vivian and Meggie. I haven't seen Meggie pop up on here so I hope she's doing okay.
Have a great day everyone.
Have a super day all.
I, too have a 2-fer. Today is my 1 month pouch-iversary and I am down to 275!!!

This is homecoming week and I am hard at work making mums for my nieces and nephew's girlfriend, unfortunately my daughter does not want one. She's grown up with boys who told her homecoming is dumb and a waste of money.(

Karen, so glad the headache is gone. I have migraines from time to time and know how much I hate them.
Well, better get back to work. Prayers and hugs go out to all who need them.
Have a great Day!!

There are Dee Rag orders waiting on me so I have to get those done today. They keep saying that fall is on the way but I haven't seen any signs of it, it's still swealtering hot here. I had to wait until almost 10 last night to go walking and I still got hot enough to get queasy. You'd think 8 years is long enough to get over a heat stroke but I swear I get more sensitive to the heat every year! I used to think it was just because I was so fat but that's no longer the case. I'm not out of shape, I could easily keep walking if it wasn't for the queasiness and light headedness. That's just plain miserable! Oh well...I'll keep trying!
Prayers for everyone. Viv and Meggie are at the top of the list.

Unfortunately heat intolerance never goes away and only gets worse. I had a heat stroke at the age of 8 when I was at our county fair. I was EXTREMELY fit and atheletic all through high school and even then when I was attending my sport group summer camp I had several instances where I passed out due to the heat.
Since I've dropped my weight, the distance between okay and overheated has gotten longer...but once I've reached overheated, I still have the same issues I had at age 10, age 18 at 160 pounds, at age 34 at 282 pounds.
Fluids are your friend! I know it stinks but its just one of those things.
