Worked from my daughter's house yesterday so I could babysit Becca Sue.  I got baby snuggles while working, what a combo, LOL!

GOOD MORNING! I've got my zip fizz made and am drinking it. That's my fav beverage.
Today is the last day of the consumer training. I'm so exhausted- its been a crazy week. Then last night I got a call that one of them went to the hospital last night in an ambulance. I don't know any more than that- will find out more today. We had a great time at the Stockyards yesterday. I had 5 teams going through the maze. It was HOT though!

Like Alissa I'm on my last day of training/school for this week also!  Will still need to jump through some more hoops to take the state test I'll need to take.  You got to love Austin and what the fine folks of the"fun and games" department does for us every two years.  Ready to boogie my butt back to the boonies!  I'll have to make run on the uniform store in Garland before I go back south.  Will be toting a couple of lattes when I go back home.  Has been nice having a Sbux a mile down the service road from the hotel.  Tonight I get to sleep with my GF!  Not Norma!  My other GF.  The one with four legs, gives doggy kisses and sheds!

Good morning and TGIF! I can 7 days and week and STILL know when it's Friday and Monday. I have private duty hospice cases booked for tonight and tomorrow night 8pm-8am (last chance for cruise cash), so hoping it all works out. I can sleep...whenever!

It's been an especially busy, stressful week in my work world...just lots of pt family dynamics, etc...lots of sick folks...sometimes that's how it rolls...next week may swing the other way...I never know...just hope today is calmer, cuz I am WHOOPED!!

By this time next week it will be my LAST work day before cruise time-y'all won't be able keep me in my chair-but-for now-better go get my clothes ready and get in the shower.

I surprised my self last night by keeping my eye open ( well somewhat open LOL ) last night for my drops.   Anyway they went into the eye.   They burned a little but I figured it was because of all the drops my eyes had due to dialation and all the prodding done to it.   I am glad that yesterday is behind me.   Praying now that after the cruise and I get back that the heart doc will say everything is OK with it.    Hope so anyway.    I have a fairly busy day today.    Gotta get youngest son up in a minute and get him out the door for his 7 AM private guitar lesson ( Can you believe a 7 AM lesson???_)   That is just wrong to do that for a almost 20 yr old.  LOL  At least it gets him up and moving right?    LOL   I am having a little bit of trouble adjusting to my new lenses.    I guess it will take some time.   I gotta get dressed and moving.   Have a blessed day  !!!

 Hey everyone.

I'm already feeling the dread of heading back to work Monday creeping into my belly.  :(  But...because of the info we have discovered about Clint's work, I do have an 'end date' in mind and it looks like I'll be heading back to school in the spring.  The only thing keeping me at my job has been my benefits.  But we found out Clint's work covers 'domestic partners' so in May when open enrollment comes around I'll be moving to his insurance and going back to school to get my Culinary Arts degree.  WHOO!

If I hadn't just had this hernia repair, I'd consider rolling the dice for 6 months and not working OR having benefits but that's just not a game I want to gamble on.

Regardless....I'm determined to have a great day and a great weekend.   Today I plan on finishing the kitchen and straightening up the living room.
