I am finally going to start going through the boxes my mother gave me of "family heirlooms". The real heirlooms are all ready put up into the china cabinet. What is left is boxes of Xmas stuff, picures, and other stuff.

I did find yesterday a packet of about 500 never mailed postcards from the 1940's through the late 1970's. I am wondering if they could be worth any money. But, have no idea how to go about finding out and selling them. (If you saw my son's room right now - you would know I am faced with a bunch of stuff to deal with....Good thing he won't be home until Turkey Day!)

Any suggestions?

If there's a manufacturer or artist's name on them, do some ebay searching or googling of that to give you a basis.
Might also try local antique stores.

Anne........I would take them to a Antique dealer and have someone tell you if the cards are worth anything.
