Picture of me and my "coach"..

I've made several mentions in posts past of my WLS "coach".  My very good friend Rhonda is now 6 years post op.  She had open RNY.  She has been with me every step of my journey.  She really was very honest about the good, the bad and the UGLY of this whole process.  I really feel mentally and emotionally I would be in a VERY different place if she hadn't done so much to prepare me for this whole ride.  We've started to refer to each other as 'big sister' and 'little sister'...we've definitely gotten that close.

A couple of weeks ago we were at a friends' wedding and FINALLY took the time for a couple of snaps together.  I just had to post...



6 years post op and she looks that great!  Definitely a WLS success story!  I hope I can be as supportive for someone else like she has been (and continues to be) for me.
