WOOOHOOOO for Rain??? who knew it was supposed to rain today?  I guess I didn't get the memo! LOL At least it was a soft easy drizzle on my drive in... my windshield washers aren't working, son says the computer is showing a fault and needs to be flashed... hmmmm...

Prayers are going up for all that need them!

Good morning KAREN and all! Jim Croce brings back such good memories--lunch time with friends in high school...having my boyfriend on the phone, for hours, while I was supposed to be babysitting-for fifty cents an hour! Oops...showing our age again....

Where did the weekend go???? They seemed to last longer when I was working them. I didnt' "accomplish" near as much as I had planned to..but I rested/had fun/had some family time/read a book/cleaned closet a LITTLE/have food planned out for the week..ok...maybe I DID accomplish some stuff. Sure wish I was off today though..just because....

With the Houston OH conference less than a month away I am going to vow to ride the train very day and be more involved on the TMB again-not PROMISING-just VOWING..lol..and I'm going to ask my old timer friends to do the same..maybe I'll make a new thread about it...if I can stay off FB long enough..I'd have reagained EVERYTHING long ago and be totally alone, if not for my FAMILY here, and newbies deserve a chance to develop their own family ties here-like we did..

Special shout out to BRYAN for not giving up on the Fort Worth Support Group/Central Market Crew-totally enjoyed the walk/breakfast on Saturday..

WOW just walked out and no rain here where I live either.   You need to send the rain our way.   LOL  There were sprinkles on the windshields of the cars but the grass wasn't even damp.    Oh well.....I hurt my back on thursday mowing it ( never mow the lawn ) couldn't get anyone to do it so I did.    I promise I won't do that again and then my oldest son borrowed the lawn mower yesterday and brought it back and said that the self propelled part had gone out.   UGH that is the second lawn mower we have bought this summer that has happened to.  OH well guess life just happens that way sometime.   I sure hope the back pain goes away.    I spent all day yesterday in bed with my heating pad.   Hope today will be better for me.

Good Morning everyone :)

I thought I was dreaming when I heard thunder last night, but when I woke up nope, even a touch of lightening in the sky.  Although drive into work was dry.

Ok soo yesterday being the day it was, and well close to perfect outside, my boyfriend and I decided it was perfect to elope so we did.

Barefoot on the shores of Lake Lewisville ( I actually found some sand.)  We went ahead and tied the knot a few days earlier than originally planned, so now I have to get used to the new name of Shawn Kelley, and well yeah start the process of changing everything over.  So everyone have a great monday, and stay safe.

OK, hope the lightening doesn't come out of the sky and strike me dead but Gina said we need to post so here I am.  It's been a long time since I've ridden the train.

Yesterday was 10-10-10 and we didn't have a single baby born-go figure.  I just KNEW the place would be teeming with women clammering to have a baby.  I'm off work the next 3 days so I have big plans to cook, clean, do laundry, grocery shop, etc...Jealous?

I don't know if I'm a veteran or not - but almost 3 yrs post op (this upcoming weekend)

I too am missing the activity that this board use to have on it - just the hellos and questions  - they are so helpful to me  - even at 3 yrs out !!    You just never know when you think that you have a question that someone else will ask !!

I have a heavy heart today:  My nephew Brian (35 yrs old) is still in a coma - has been since Thursday -  his wife came home and found him on the floor during her lunch break.)  he was blue.........they changed up some of his meds last week - think that maybe a reaction to something.  nothing usual in his system or nothing that wasn't suppose to be there - levels are where they should be with what meds he has been on...........just a waiting game for him to wake up.....he is on breathing machine - but is breathing on his own too.....he is responsive.....docs says that right now - his body is just healing itself.   Lung collapsed during ER treatment and there is swelling on the brain...  Please pray for my sister, Paula (this is her first born child) and he's only been married to his wife, Kelly for almost 2 yrs in Nov...

I'm at work.   I worked this past weekend.........didn't work too long on Sunday - got to feeling poorly - thinking that my sat night cleaning spasm got the dust bunnies out and is affecting my asthma a little............was in bed by 7pm last night !!        Feeling a little better this am -  forcing myself to stay at work.....out of 14 clerical people between Houston and Dallas offices - we only have about 6 in ......so I"m backing up phone coverage too..........:)    

I don't have to work tonight at 2nd job......TODAY IS A FED HOLIDAY !! BANKS ARE CLOSED...THAT MEANS - NO MAIL OR BILLS TODAY !!  LOL 

YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT DAY !!!       SUN IS TRYING TO COME OUT.......


p.s.  - I did know that we had a slight chance of rain today and tomorrow..........

We got everyone else's rain and ours too.
about 5 this morning the bottom fell out of the clouds and the lightning was striking really close.
Good thing we needed the rain.

Off to another interminal, overloaded workweek in the anti-disneyland that is my employer.
