Hey Meggie,
Those are the ones I got, and couldn't believe how good they were! I stared at the bottle dreading my first one, and was truly shocked that they were good. Although the other night I walked around with it under my tongue for 20 minutes wondering why it wouldn't dissolve, confusing it with my B-12. (I was a bit tired!). :)
I think that one of my issues is getting away from the group of people who were my support..You guys! I got busy and didn't do what I know I need to do. I was an OH addict for at least two years. Maybe more. This month I am having my 4 year surgiversary and recently I have gained 15 pounds. For most people that is like a drop in the bucket but it isn't... I don't exercise and don't do a lot of things I know I should. Good thing is that I recognize my failures and am taking the steps to get back where I belong and to maybe actully get down to my goal this time.
I leveled out at 153 for a long time. so being back in the 160's is not my idea of good.
I am interested in a group of this sort and will be trying to stay more in touch.
Thanks Steph,
Cindy Mc

Well as a standing member of the lurker party, I just do not know what to say...heck I don't even know what you mean by a troll...I am 15 months post and have gone from 468 to 309 and 275 is my goal wt (my old playing wt in football ... well we all have to pick one lol) I bounce up and down like anyone else but I also know it is something you have to chip at...bam make 305 slip to 309...then bam 300...oops to 305 or what ever....slipping is a part of it. As a coach I tell my players that none of us have a time machine and if we mess up then simply learn and go on...getting upset over something that has already does no good. Talking in a group is nice support and to learn we are not the only one messing up. Bottom line is that we are responsible not only for slipping but for fixing it.
Now as to why I lurk is because I prefer face to face talking and not what you would call a social butterfly lol....but it is nice to know I am not the only one dealing with the occasional slip and the sagging extra skin...and the pain in the butt things we have to do now. Sometimes people get too full of self importance and forget that well we are all in the same boat...Okay sorry guess I am ranting and will now pull back into the shadows...by the way it is much nicer living near Dallas than up in the panhandle...not that anything is wrong with panhandle but it is nice to have so much more to do....LOL

Well...thought I posted on here yesterday but guess I didn't. I think that is a great idea Steph and much needed, most especially by me. Have you been seeing all the Fed ex and UPS boxes at my door? Just joking...I say I have a cross addiction of shopping, but I actually did a lot of shopping on TV and online before I ever had WLS. I would love to be a member of a private OH or FB group to deal with this regain subject. Lord knows I've put on some lbs. since my lowest point, even though I have maintained after that for a couple of years.

To those attending the OH conference in Houston, Dr. Connie Stapleton is lecturing. Her book, Eat It Up, is all about "the whole person, mind/body/spirit approach". She's all about tough love. And I need to follow what she says.
From the first chapter: Here are five things that your bariatric surgeon didn't tell you:
1. his mother's maiden name
2. the street she grew up on
3. the name of his firpet
4. her husband's favorite teacher
5. that fact that a significant percentage of weight loss surgery patients will regain a great deal of their weight in two to five years following surgery
That scares the bejeezus out of me! I'd rather not FB if we're voting on it.
