Hi, everyone on the Texas Forum! I'm trying to decide on Dr. Robert Marvin for my gastric sleeve. He charges $11,000 for self-pay, done at University General Hospital (UGH), a Center of Excellence. Wondering why he is about $3,000 to $7,000 lower than other surgeons. He is board certified in general surgery and has had a fellowship with UT Medical School.
