The Journey 12/7

I am hobbling around this morning due to wearing the wrong shoes yesterday. My poor feet are still aching. I actually drove home from my daughter's house yesterday in just socks because I couldn't bear to put the shoes back on.

Do you spend money on good shoes? That is my one weakness. Unfortunately, shoes I try on in the store that feel just fine end up killing me when I try to wear them anywhere. The only shoes I can comfortably wear are Clarks sandals.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

you sound like me. The last pair of shoes I bought were $5. Hurt my toes something awful now!

Hi Lynne,

Unlike most females, I'm not a big shoe gal.  I have a few pairs of favorites and I wear them till my husband tells me it's time to replace.    No proud of it, but its the truth.  Plus, its hard for me to part with "comfort."

My most comfortable shoes are Naturalizers and Rykas I find at Marshalls and Ross in wide widths. I also have some Dr. Scholls that are like the Toners but half the price . I have the ones that look like Maryjanes and the athletic ones. Most comfortable shoes I 've ever owned.
