I can see Friday from here-woo hoo! I didn't catch the train until yesterday afternoon. I am feeling better today though.

Our weekend plans- tomorrow is Christopher's birthday! I can't believe he's going to be 14! I'm taking him and 3 friends to Legoland BUT they don't know! They think we're going to play laser tag but I'm going to load them up and drive to Grapevine Mills instead. They've all wanted to go. They play Legos almost every day together.
Sat I have a baby shower that I can't wait to attend. I love baby showers!
Sunday we're having a family get together for Chris and my sister's birthday. Bryan's dad's birthday is tomorrow too and I invited them but then I found out its the same time as Bryan's nephew is graduating HS.
So, it might just be my family.

I better get moving. I've been doing well food wise. I planned for meals this week and its going well. I even did pretty good in PA this weekend.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning ALISSA and all!! Been a busy week here--and I keep getting confused as to what DAY it is..like i needed something ELSE to confuse me!

Nothing new and exciting here..doing a few days of "pure protein", with some skim milk/yogurt on the side, to "de-carb" my body and brain. i keep saying/thinking sweets are ot my "thing", but I sure had been snatching/grabbing/grazing them lately, so June 1st seemed like an excellent time to put the brakes on..and YES...I DID earn a Princess sticker on my wall calendar yesterday!!!

Work is going well..doing lots of different stuff, which is the way I like it. High temps are hard on the terminaly ill. Part of one of my new projects is to check on our home patients and be sure they have the means to stay adequately cool, in our Tx summer. The way some people have to live would just break your heart...

Hope everyone has the best THURSDAY ever (had to look at the calendar again). Try to do at least one good thing just for YOU YOU YOU!!

I was hoping this was going to be a "woo-hoo" Thursday.  I'm still going to share though!  Have two:  1.  We all have experienced days when "if you ain't got to go - you ain't got to go".  That was yesterday.  Made up for it this morning! 1.2 pounder!  and 2. thanks to of my "production" this morning I weighed in at 169.2!  I'm four pounds lighter than I was at the first of the year.

As to weekend plans - well let's just say the "fur child" will be at Gram's.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Not much going on here for the weekend...I do have to take back some stuff that I bought last weekend.  Other than that, the typical weekend routine.

Friday night after work, I may be going to a post-game MSU get together...M-State is playing Southern Miss in round 1 of the College Baseball World Series.  Not that I have kept up with it that much, but M-State in years past has generally done well in baseball.  Ya'll might know one of our former players...Will Clark...yeppers, he is a M-State graduate.

For not having much work to do this week, I have managed to stay busy.  Clients responding to emails with the necessary info to complete their tax return.

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

Good Morning all! And it will be!!! "Beast" gave notice at work so soon there will be no drama! Eating is interesting. PCP and I both know I have a new abdominal hernia but we are waiting for Cleveland and see what they say. He also thinks the heinous leg cramps are being caused by my anti migraine meds so I am going off of them for 2 weeks to see if it makes a difference. For the pulled muscles in my back I am trying a topical anti-inflammatory since my pouch can't handle them. So far so good

My youngest grandson arrives from Alaska today with Kens first wife. Oldest grandson graduates from H.S. on Sundat so lots of out of town guest comming! Ethan will spend the night Friday and Saturday we are taking him to Fossil Rim!!

Do not forget Saturday is Central Market support group is at 9:30! Wish I could be there but I have not seen grandson in 6years!!

woo hoo's abounded over the last 2 weeks
1) wore a wetsuit

Hoping to be out spending money as my first disbursement from inheritance is supposed to come in tomorrow. Plan on hitting up a number of stores for clothes, shoes, new furniture, etc., etc. Then dinner at the local fire dept/EMS to support their wonderful services as they have transported both Mike and me on several occassions to the hospital!
