I'm sure you've probably gotten the full story by now, but my understanding is that the "other site" that they're involved with has information on it that OH does not agree with and puts them in a bad light. I don't agree that our activity on other boards should be monitored, but I can also understand how OH would feel as well. From their perspective, If you agree with the other site's information, why would want to be on OH unless you were simply taking information back to that board and painting it (and the posters) in a negative way. I think OH also has some rules about having stores on personal websites...which is against their TOS (competition with the OH advertisers). Just my take....I'm not taking either side...both sites have their individual strengths and weaknesses. I am sad to hear that some of our most supportive and helpful posters here have been asked to leave, or left because they felt pressured. OH will not be the same with people like Nat, Donna Mae, Lei and the others mentioned. Hope that helps, Christina S

They don't ask you to leave. That's too nice. Look, I don't make fun of people. I avoid anything like that. It's just not in my nature. But what has happened to some long-term post-ops (I can name at least 30 that have been banned in the last month) who have valuable info is totally wrong. I can go on and on and tell you things that will **** you off, but I don't have enough room here. there may come a day when I will leave OH too. It's not like it used to be. I'm very angry at was has happened to a website that once my saving grace. I've never broken TOS and don't intend to. I know the rules and follow them. But I can't stand and watch my friends be picked off like flies.

Jane- I didn't mean to imply that everyone on the other site made fun of people, I hope that's not what others thought. I simply was trying to point out that when I've been over there I can see why OH would have some issues with it....ALTHOUGH, that does NOT give them the right to ban people from this site (IMO). Message boards on the web are public...and we should all be able to express what we when when and where we want. BUT, at the same time, until we're ready to pay for the server maintence costs, upkeep, and such of a site of our own then we have to play by the rules set by those that do/are. I know there have been many unjustices done to some of our long-term post ops that are no longer allowed on OH. I'm not agreeing with the way things are handled. I was just trying to add a layer to the thread that may not have been there before. I have spent less and less time here because I'm finding I need less and less support. But I do find it sad for those that were in my shoes pre-op and just a few months out that people like you, Nat, Lei, Donna Mae and the such won't be around to share the insights and wisdom of "those that have been there". You'd think that a site meant to support those people would be more graceful in their dealings with the people that can and do offer the most benefit. Just sharing thoughts.....and trying to see both sides. Basically, just sad overall though that like you, a place I used to come too for support and friendship is slowly dying and changing into something I no longer recognize. Christina S

I had no idea what was happening either until I just read all your posts. I'm really sorry to hear what is happening. Personally, I think its everyone's perogative what sites they are affiliated and if OH tossed me because I had a MySpace or Yahoo or any other site I visit regularly, then I would get rid of OH. I love this place, I've made some invaluable friends here and the support is amazing. However, I won't be told what I can or can't do. I didn't even know there was a TOS in effect here. I mean the obvious is common sense, no swearing or putting explicit pictures, etc. But being "affiliated" with another site should not be considered. The Internet is a very open public place, pretty much anything goes. There is no expectation of privacy online. I won't leave OH because of this, I believe there is too many people to support here and the Pre-OPs need us. I do think its crap that those others have been TOS'd, they were crucial to my experience. I hope they can make new names and still visit, if they can find it in their hearts to get past OH and stick in it for US! Love you guys! Amber
