Anyone ever fall off a horse?
Hope you are recuperating quickly. I don't remember ever landing on my bottom. Always landed on my side or back or under the horse or a leg under the horse sliding across a highway. That one smarted and my ankle was messed up for a few months but I was only 12 so it was an ace bandage and shoved my foot and my boot and back on the horse again. Got my first black eye from a horse too. LOL I thought he was being sooo good that day until he didn't want to stop and kept hitting me in the face with his head. I had to ride a little over a mile to get a saddle. I finally jumped off holding onto the reins, smacked him and then had a friend help me back on him. He was a real tall horse. The owners were afraid to ride him but he was such a good horse when ridden regularly. Last time was after a 3 yr gap, took forever just to get my leg over the saddle. Then he flipped over backwards grazed the side of my face and my ear with his hoof. I got back on him again, rode him a bit then took him back and got the ol plow horse.
I didn't want to get back on him but i've ridden so many crazy ones that got that way because someone was thrown off and didn't get back on again so they thought "hey that's cool I know how to stay home now!" They are some smart critters!
Last time I rode I was 4 months preg., started with a saddle and it poked me in the belly so tossed it in favor of bareback. Much better!
If you are still just as sore or close in a couple weeks I'd probably get checked out or later it'll get ya. My foot got better and years later found out when it started aching that I broke a bone and arthritis moved in.
