Anyone ever fall off a horse?
I use to raise Tenn. Walkers. Been bucked a million times.
If you broke your ****yx ( tailbone) it will take some time before you are really pain free. It usually causes the most problems while sitting. Might want to get a donut to sit on. It helps.
If you fell on your cheek you might want to be sure you didn't injure your spine. I would see a doc to be on the safe side.

Several times. Usually I am hanging on for my life and end up kinda sliding off, as I am looking them in the eye and yelling in there ear WOAHHHHHHHH!!! The worst I was ever hurt was when I pulled a rib, my horse decided to jump something she didn't need to and she tucked her head down and pulled me forward. I wasn't expecting it. Took me months for it to stop hurting (not like I stopped riding) but I couldn't sleep on my side for months. So thats when I became a back sleeper, still am today. Check with your chiorpracter thats what helped me.
I don't have any regrets, they can talk about me plenty when I'm gone....Bob Dylan

Well, here is what happened. Friday night I went over to a friend's house and wanted to ride. I decided that I was going to climb the pen and then hop onto a horse bareback. Well, I think it would have worked had I not hopped so hard and scared the poor creature. I should have waited until I had him closer to me, but didn't. I don't think I stayed on but a milasecond...and all I remember is falling on my right side, but ended up with the area around the tailbone hurting, but not the bone itself, and a spot on my right cheek. I thought I would "work" it out by going ahead with my plans to paint my kitchen yesterday. Well, after bending, sitting, getting up, reaching, climbing, etc. I was worse off than before...although felt ok during most of the painting process. AFter was a different story and I soaked in epson salt bath and rubbed some eucalyptus oil on my worse parts (supposed to be healing). Any which who....I woke up hurting A LOT and my neck is very stiff now too. I am currently finishing off my pain pills from surgery that I didn't use (yes my nurse knows) and wondering if I should go to the doctor. I figure I am just bruised, but I guess I could have cracked something also.
