Tonight is Beef Stew in the Crock Pot for the day.

Last night was...T-bone steaks (from our newly slaughtered, home raised heiffer...teasing you Ms Shell...soooo yummy!)
with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and fruit ****tail.

Tomorrow I am off to Portland for a couple days watching my daughter compete in her last High School State Championship swim meet, so it'll be fast food and restaurants!

The hay we fed it was raised with no poisons, the grain I am not sure about though.

The best part is that it was raised with NO hormones at all and she was raised with lots of love.  She even had a car port to go under to get out of the weather.  lol   Our 11 year old daughter also brushed and groomed her, she was a happy cow and now she is rewarding us with happy tummies!!

I love being a country girl!  Fresh home raised eggs for breakfast and home raised beef and pork for dinner.  I can't wait for vegetable time again.

I've been a country girl ALL my life! (Seriously, grew up in a town population 406 - next door neighbors raised roosters!)

You're a stronger woman than I ... If I feed them, brush them ...name them, I get attached and the original 'use' (food, money ... etc.) goes right out the window!

My husband loves and hates this about me at the same time! I'm a country wuss .. I admit it!

Lord help me, I name our chickens! Such a softy!
I'm a  !!!
